Does it matter? I don't always stay awake to watch the drawings, so I have no clue how it's done these days. Is one better than the other?

TNPATL:  You can't be serious.  It doesn't matter?  Have you read the Petition about computerized drawings?

Remember that Powerball was thinking of going computerized.  If they do, you can bet that Mega Millions will follow.

People will still play even if they go computerized.  As long as people lust for millions of dollars, they will not care how the numbers are drawn.  I would still play even if they went computerized.

If they go computerized I think I will reduce my bets to $1.00 a draw, and stick to my local State lottery games.

Keep in mind Buddy Roogow runs both the MD Lottery and Mega Millions. MM and MD would probably go computerized around the same time. But fortunately, I don't see that happening.

They rotate the Mega Millions "CEO", so Buddy's tenure is only temporary.  They make decisions as a group.

I will not play if the game is drawn with a computer.

                      Howdy Todd,

I agree with you 100% that I prefer machine drawings to computer drawings, but I would still play regardless of what method was used.

Let me ask you, hypothetically, if in the future ALL lottery drawings, (meaning every Lottery in the world), were computerized, would you quit playing the lottery all together?

                      Just curious.

                      Thanks,

                      John - LA

Yes, at that point I would lose interest in playing.

The above will get a lot of debate even still, but I agree with ryanm.
