I think it's very possible if the fortune cookies numbers a done with a rng program and it's the same program the lottery uses.

I love doubles and remember, it's just a game!!!!!!

I don't see how it can help happen.  There are more chinamen than there are potential numbers, even after the matrix change.

Any nation willing to march four abreast into the sea just to prove a point can probably be expected to beat the lottery systems of other nations just for the hell of it.

                Some Fortune Cookie Trivia:

                • Did you know Fortune Cookies only exists in americanized chinese restaurants in North America?
                •
                • And that the inventor of the fortune cookie was a japanese restaurant owner.
                •
                • Fortune cookies does not exist in China. Small correction: They exists only as american fortune cookies!

I'm sorry to hear that.  Things are probably bad enough in China without having to add something of that sort to the list of complaints those people must have about being Chinese.  Particularly a Chinese person owning a japanese restaurant and having to invent fortune cookies all by himself, not getting any helpful feedback from his countrymen.

Judging from the inscrutability of Chinese, however, I'm betting it happened during WWII or the Russo-Japanese War, and that the fortune cookie began as a means of getting surrepticious messages across national boundaries.  During times of war people especially need to hear, "Someone who admires you is watching you."  That kind of news is designed to raise the spirits in time of warfare.
