  I am sorry to hear of your loss. I am a Vietnam era vet and lost friends in that conflict and now have friends who have their sons in the service....I feel for you and will keep you in my prayers...take care and God bless.

  Oh, and about the mayor of det. what a joke.....he has been surrounded by turmoil almost since the day he took office. Has been one thing after the other. He has no values or morals that I can see of and the people of Detroit deserve better. There is so much potential there in the city to be tapped and to have it squandered by some blatant bone head is a shame. Hopefully, the people choose better this time around and don't pick some one who is sooo politically connected ( his family has been on the govt payrolls for years )....

  Sandy,Hope today finds you in better spirits. I am truly sorry for your loss,as well as the loss for that baby...What a  shame,that child will never know his father. I had a good friend that happened too,she had her baby and 9 days later the father who was a cop died in the line of duty....God be with you all.

   

  On the topic of Mayors...well I am from a tiny town in Ga. But the town over Macon....Now they have a mayor that can out SLIME anyone. Since taking office it has been discovered he has girlfriend and child on other side of city,he has taken many  trips on the taxpayers expense,his assistant was just arrested and charged with embezzlement and released of her duties. He though brings her back to work for him (supposedly for free) so she is still in the mayors office,just not on payroll...and he tells us there is nothing wrong with this. He has put the city in financial ruins,so bad that city payroll has bounced more than once.....Yet he's still there,does'nt make sense to me ,but I am from the next city so of course I cannot vote.....

  Morning Everybody,

  Look at my matrix and pick a good number from them. We are working on trying to

  get a list of doubles from my matrix. Maybe in a few days I can come up with some

  leading doubles for michigan. We are testing right now and today 44 -- 11--99

  look good. Remember I said look good. Also a double just might be for midday today.

  I see the media has the folks outside of Detroit all fired up. Since I live in Detroit and own several properties in Detroit, I am well aware of our problems. However, the media will not choose the next mayor for me, or for any of my constituents. I did not vote for Kwame in the first election, but I may vote for him this time, taking into consideration the other choices available. It is very easy to look from the outside and decide what Detroiters should do, but it is another thing to live it everyday. Don't be surprised if Kwame is the mayor of Detroit again, contrary to what the media would like. So far, we only have Sharon McPhail and Freeman Hendricks to choose from and neither one of them are better than Kwame. If someone who is more qualified steps up to the plate, perhaps we will get a new mayor. Neither one of these have the integrity I am looking for and seeing that I have dwelt with both of these other candidates, I kinow what I speak about.
