Let's see here. Balls bounce around fancy free in a little chamber, or get spun and scooped around, all of them looking for tube or a chute. And if one of your balls, your very own balls, come up, you are that much closer to becoming a millionaire, or a hundredaire depending on the game. A computer on the other hand, does nothing but a sit there and display a not-so-arbitrary number, that's it. Nothing more. So chalk that up on another reason balls are better.

we all need to join together and get this petition signed, you never know one of these days it could lead to a ban on all computerized drawings forcing all states to use the ball drawings so everyone can get a fair drawing.....

I signed the petition.  Balls are a lot better.  Why would state lotteries change from Balls to RNG?  To be honest before I joined Lottery post I thought all the drawings were ball drawings.  Now the more I understand it the more I hate it.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

State lotteries change from balls to computers because computers are cheaper.

In proportion to the size of their revenue stream, the cost savings is so insignificant that it doesn't make a difference.

Also, the revenue lost through lack of player confidence is not being measured, and probably accounts for a lot.

I am for the ball machines 100%.

What are some things we could do about getting rid of RNGs.

I live in Ga. we have live drawings and ball machines, but I would be willing to help in any way I can to get rid of RNGs in other states.

TAKEITEZ.see the thing is even though your state has ball drawings right now that doesn't mean there won't be a chance later of it going computerized in the future.all states are vulnerable thats why the petition thing is here to stop the computerized drawings from spreading.....

its scary to me because missouri was a ball drawing state and when they suddenly went computerized in 2004 i knew that kentucky, georgia and other states were probably paying attention to it so it is something to think about.....

At first, players may hate it, but over time, computers will become the norm, and players will adapt.
