After winning how would you pay for your purchased ? Would you ever apply for another credit card or loan. That is if you credit is already good?

I would pay with cash and with credit/debit cards.  As far as the loans only for real estate or business.

I'm thinking that winning the lottery would equal an instant credit score of 900 with all of the cards flooding your mailbox, inbox and voicemail!

I'd probably pay cash for just about eveything from now on.  If I get something using a credit card, the card will be paid at the end of the month when the statement arrives.  I don't like carrying large sums of cash on me so when I make a big purchase, I'll use a card.

After uncle sam gets his share I would not buy a thing until my investments recouped what I paid in taxes.

I will use cash for some stuff debit card for some stuff  credit cards for some aditional credit scores and possibly pay of some large loans from time to time to build credit scores. Additionally after i splurge for the stuff i need and want i will set a limit on the ammount i spend each month and buy into some porfolio that will recoupe what i might spend.

With an American Express Centurion Card......

"By far the most prestigious charge card available today, the American Express Black card, also known as the American Express Centurion card, offers benefits and services unheard of with any other card on the market. It is so exclusive that you cannot apply for the card, but rather must be personally invited by American Expressto use the card if you are already an American Express Platinummember and have spent over $150,000 in one year. This is the status symbol card, with Jerry Seinfeld supposedly being the first cardholder, and with Tiger Woods and P. Diddy being included among its ranks of industry leaders and celebrity cardholders. With a hefty $2,500 annual fee and no spending limit, this card is out of the league of most, but then again, in order to qualify for it you must be a millionaire already, right?"

Mostly credit cards. Rollover within a month , pay off, and proceed to get all those reward perks in the process! Ones FICO doesnt automatically bounce to 850+ merely from winning a mountain of cash. It takes time to both raise the score and move away from any past negative markings. Too many credit cards isnt a good thing either though. Moderation seems to be the key!

I'd pay cash though for real estate. Why pay a bank to loan money that you already have? If I can avoid paying interest or having to line a banks pocket, Im all for it!

A person who comes by that kind of money honestly, but without earning it owes it to himself to prove that the poor and uneducated are a major pain in the arse when they come by a lot of money.  That can manifest itself in a lot of ways after a poor and undereducated person gets the hang of it and weaves it into all the facets of his/her life.

But where paying for things is concerned, seems to me the obvious way to pay is with gold.  It's legal tender.  They have to take it.

So I figure if a person wins a multi-million dollar jackpot he/she needs to carry a bag of gold dust around, along with a digital scale capable of measuring troy oz, along with a daily spot report on the price of gold.

I know.  It's not making a really first magnitude pain of yourself.  But it's a start.

I choose cash, so why would I pay with anything else?
