Maybe somebody had a very high win and they intimidated that person in-to not paying him or her, like shutup and don't make waves about it or else, the or else could had been any of many possible bad or very bad things, but I don't know anything, I am just talking.

Nobody has reported yet any such things. As to what Todd is talking about, none of us knows.

Even if somebody reported any such problems, how could they prove it ? It's one's word against another's.

Many or several "known" people would have to make any such reports for them to be believed.

When I said "known" I mean "us", people like me, the "regulars".

All I'm going to say -- and then I'm not going to entertain this any further -- is that it's quite possible that others are having problems, and they have very good reasons for not reporting it publicly.

That's ALL I have to say, hopefully I have not said too much.  You all make up your own minds.  Sorry if all I have done is to make the waters more murky for you, but there is nothing I can do about it.  I would never betray someone's trust, especially in this case.

i would be concerned about online lotteries in that there is no power to make them pay.

a person might have to sue to collect and then it may not be enforceable.

an online business can just fade away without being responsible.

at least the state lotteries are guaranteed to pay your winnings

I had always thought the problem was with the people pushing their affiliate advertising on LotteryPost without paying to get you to join because they win when you lose and get to play on your money.  It's one thing when people are trying to improve your odds another when they are shilling just for themselves.

The site itself gets pretty good press from the sites that review it.  When it comes to anything online you have to have some common sense when it comes to amounts you leave in your account.

As I have sent friends to this site, I'd appreciate a PM if there is a serious problem.

Much as I hate to reply to my own post . . . I googled the name of the place and the word s u c k s which usually turns up the forum complaints and found they had a problem back in 2003 with a manager that took some money and some complaints about sports lines moving along with other people pointing out the complainer couldn't have won what he said he wasn't paid based on the odds, the usual stuff and nothing online to worry about.  They are a solid book, not like so many of the cookie cutter casinos that pop up and down like whack-a-mole.  That doesn't mean I won't switch if Todd turns up something better.  As a general rule, never sign up through a spammer's offer, they often lose their downline and your account can have trouble. If you join, always do so direct or through a reputable site that has staying power.  It's nice to have some choices, especially when you want to kick off a system with .25 bets and need that bigger payoff.  Personally, now that some states are starting to pay more for Pick-3 maybe onlines books will force a change for the better, like when the states wanted to outdo the numbers game.  We're already gambling, playing online is just one more chance we take.  BobP

BobP, many thanks for checking THAT place out. I have been most happy with my dealings with them, have never had a problem, and the higher pay outs allows me to take a few more risks and still come out ahead.  Thanks again !  Bob Guitarbg

I have won a lot of money (tax free) using the "quarter site".  I have not had any problems with them.  The other day I had a problem with the horses.  One of the horses I bet at Del Mar was a late scratch.  They didn't give me credit for the scratch.  I went to their online help and told them about it.  Within 2 minutes my account had been adjusted.

I have recommended the site to many people.  I tell all of them to always do a "review tickets" after they have placed their bets (horses, lotto, football, baseball, etc.) and then do a "save as" to save the web page on your hard drive.  That way you have a copy of your bet along with the ticket number in case you have a problem.  A while back someone on LP said that they did a Lotto bet and made it a straight instead of a box by mistake.  When you click the "confirm" button, there is no turning back, but the person said that they contacted the live help person and they changed the bet for the person.  They didn't have to do that.

If you happen to win a lot of money, get it out of the account before it builds up.  They do not report any transactions to any state, but there is a law in the United States concerning transfers of money over $10,000.  It has to be reported to the U.S. Government.

                      I agree with CD,

I have been using that place for sports bets for several years and have won a lot of money. They have never failed to pay promptly. Over the years I have drawn many, many times a 4 digit amount from them sometimes 2 or 3 times a week during football season. I bet them a lot of 3 and 4 digits amounts during football and basket season, they have been hassle free for me. As for lotto, I play it there because the gambler in me says 'why take a 5 for 1 bet when I can get the same bet for 9 for 1'

I just finished watching a great movie named Constantine. I liked the movie but still have issues about the ending. Sorry for digressing.

Why fix something that isn't broken? I'm sure that people around the world are bombarded by forces that rebel, However it is the norm.Sure there may be problems with that .....site. I could write a book on how many undesireable moments I've encountered with MC...That's right... McDonalds. Talk about a lack of a Self-Esteem enviornment.

Nevertheless, I'm hoping Todd will triumph, like he always does. And provide an alternative that suites everyone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Why do men have nipples? LOL.....

What I meant was.....Why wouldn't I choose a company that would pay much higher? Such as off- shore?

This is not geared to you .....Takeitez...... I'm just blowing some steam, in general. I agree with you, It's just that I wanted to use your thread as an obvious medium in expressing myself. In telling everyone that a few bad apples don't neccessarily dictate the overall.

Who couldn't use the extra payout? Anyone????
