    <<The best software for Pick 3 I had was an old  1989  DOS Program Lotto Pro Plus.  Company is not longer in business. (so what else is new) Man that program could pick some numbers.  floppy disk, DOS ver. 2.1-4.0 .  1989 by Micromedia/Cascade Sierra at Seattle, Wa. (company out of business) If anyone knows where to get a copy let me know.  Lost my copy in 1997.>>
    Yo WSLS, Why did you let this money making jewel get away from you? When this program came out I was overseas in Egypt, otherwise I would have purchased it. I been asking some of my lottery buddies if they may have a copy. Keep searching, I am sure someone will have it in their archives.

            I looked and don't have it, not even a demo.  That company name Micromedia is the name of the Flash Player used on web sites everywhere so maybe the author did as well as winning the lottery, or maybe the name was never his to begin with.

            Are we sure we're not looking for the dos version of (Windows) Lotto Pro by John Lake?  BobP

              The other alternative is to check the Seattle, Washington Department of State.  Find out the Doing Business AS (DBA) if the company filed for a business license or through the IRS and search the same info.  I wonder if the information is still available.  If it is, at least you can find the possible developer(s) of the program.

              Any other suggestions??

                I had the Windows Lotto Pro Plus program years ago, and upgraded to Windows Lotto Pro 4.0 which I still have a copy of. If I am not mistaken, this is a DOS driven program because there are instructions for Windows 3.1 installation. I believe you are correct BobP, that the program is the same because John Lake's copyright was 1997 on Lotto Pro 4.0

                What do you think?

                  The program either became Windows Lotto Pro or some other windows lottery program.

                      No, there is considerable difference in the format, but they are similar in principle.

                      Here are the system requirements for Lotto Pro 4.0:

                      * 386DX or higher

                      *Windows 3.1 or Windows 95

                      *VGA display or better capable of displaying 256 colors

                      *6 MB RAM or more

                      *CD-ROM drive

                      *5 MB hard drive space

                      *Mouse and Printer

                          He is the author of Windows Lotto Pro 4.0, Windows Lotto Pro 2005, and I am not positively sure, but I believe he authored the origional version which was marketed through another entity.

                          My origional copy was sold at a yard sale last year, but it seems to me that it was marketed by Sierra or something like that, I can't remember for sure.
