I live in NJ i wonder what part of Jersey this ticket was from.

Ticket was bought in a Deli in Rutherford, NJ. NOw where near Sparta, NJ !

It's always some little town no one has ever heard of. I have been a NewJerseyan for 36 years and i have never heard of Rutherford. i Google searched it and it's almost in NewYork. Thats another thing about playing the Mega million lottery in NJ everytime someone hits in NJ it's always North Jersey i live in South Jersey i think the last time a Mega million winner hit in south Jersey was in 2001 the ticket was a split from two winners in Jersey one in Ocean County and the other wasCamden County in the city of Camden NJ which is south jersey that one was a jackpot worth 285 million.

Most of New Jersey is little towns. Once you leave the main cities, you can't drive 6 miles without changing cities atleast twice. I live in "North Jersey" and in the morning I travel through three counties and six towns before I drive 7 miles.  If you have to live in New Jersey, North New Jersey is the only way to be., Provided you don't mine seeing dead deer several times a day, or having an animal or two killed by a bear. Deer constantly walk into my living room window (reflection?), about six weeks ago a bear tried to steal the ribs off my barbeque, and Turkeys are always running into the side of my truck. A few years back, a Turkey landed in the bed of my Dakota - while I was driving. Scared the be-jesus out of me.

Cheers

I only trust myself - and that's a questionable choice

stupid lucky stupid person.......so how long does it take for a jackpot to get up to or past $300million?

If MM sales return to normal, it may happen in only 7 or 8 weeks if there is no winner.
