These are my picks tonight. Good luck to everyone. Why is important sometimes to highlight two of my best WBs and MBs? How come best picks are important?

    WB: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, 24, 27, 33, 38, 42

    MB: 2, 7, 16, 33, 38

      just6,

it's not important to highlite two of your picks, it was just a way to let everyone know that these are your strongest or best numbers to show up...

        MB: 1,4,43,3

sidebar note: Most white balls will be in the 30's and 40's draw range, Mb will be in the Teens.

reason for this: Cuz none of my actual tickets have those combination.

MD, and other participants in this Challenge:

Would you mind if I propose a plan, for just entertainment purpose?

Simply allow me to participate in this Challenge but with a different matrix.

As you are already aware, the current challenge matrix (15+5) is equal to 15,015 combinations. What I would like to do is for me to personally challenge with a different matrix. That is, (10WBs+46MBs). That matrix covers only 11,592 combinations, fewer than the current by 3,423. (For your reference, 10 WBs = 252 baskets of 5-WBs, each basket of which is matched with each and all of 46 MBs: thus, 252 x 46 =11,592 combinations in total)

I am afraid this would bother MD due to the possibly additional works. MD or someone may count just WBs in my entry when counting the results. After all the results counted and posted, I am willing to calculate the equivalent-to-real-tickets winnings, if any, including mine.

As my personal compliment, I want to give away a kind of might-be-small but might-be-huge FREE GIFT: 15 Korean 6/45 Lotto(every Saturday drawings and just a few cents less than $1 each) and 5 MM tickets. I will buy those tickets and post the corresponding before-drawing numbers in MD MM Challenge threads at the end of this year or early next year.

All winnings, if any, out of those tickets would be equally shared among (1)the winner who beat my entry by the biggest margin in terms of cumulative winnings, (2)MD who I believe does so much works in this forum, and (3) ME. This way, the number of sharers would be 3. Small winnings may be used to repurchase tickets in the next drawing(s) as you might expect. And, if the jackpot hopefully can be hit despite its extremely low odds, 25% of my share will go to the victims of Katrina. Only those participants entering tonight's Challenge may qualify for the gift, however.

I just took a loot at the calendar and found there are 8 more MM drawings to go. NO obligations at all and nothing for any participants to lose. All I want is to see what happens.

Finally, I am not sure whether or not my idea violates the rules of this site. In that regard, Todd's decision will prevail. That is, if denied by Todd, my proposal will not be effective.

              anonymous77

PS: I wish you understand, because I was in a hurry, my idea might not have been well organized. However, I am pretty sure I can keep my words.

              ====================================================================

My entry tonight, if not denied, is

              10 WBs: 8  10  13  18  23  28  35  47  50  52

              (MBs: ALL 46)

              Good luck, everyone!

anonymous77...well as for the mb, its just 5 ,might as well take a stab at it instead of having all 46, and bringin down the wb to 10 you can still do that here, you dont have to have 15.....but bringing the wb down to 10 would be really for the elite , such as myself LOL  but it would just be a bit to tight at 10

never mind my donuts tonight LOL

                    Hi anon:

I'd have to agree with xsmega on one aspect of what you've suggested.  We seem to be having a lot of difficulty getting two of 15, which is frequently the best shot.  I don't have any objection to your idea, be happy to play it alongside the MD Challenge, but I think we're all going do do some blushing with the results.

                      anonymous77,

There use to be a pigskin challenge with a different set of rules and amount of numbers.  Why not start your own anonymous challenge?  That way you will have your own rules and every participant will have the same chance and you can maintain the results.

                      RJOh

P.S. With 15 numbers, 3003 of the 3,819,816 possible combinations would be covered for odds of 1:1272 of matching 5 numbers per post.  With only 10 numbers, that would be 252 combinations covered for odds of 1:15,158 of matching 5 numbers.  Since you would be covering all 46 MB, that is not a challenge.

                          Final results Mega Millions 10/4:    12-24-28-29-36  +  41

I'm running late again this A.M. so I'll recap later, but from what I can see

                          Down      3+1

                          Lottotto    3+0

                          Fja            1+1

Anonymous: It's sounds good but you'd be taking the challenge away by using all the mb's. You don't have to post (15) numbers but I'd rather keep the challenge the way it stands right now. you could start another challenge with your rules on a different thread and be able to follow your resultsif thats what your intentions are.    Good luck...!

Thank you for all your helpful comments.

Respecting those, I withdraw my poposal. All I said in it will be ineffective. Please ignore anything that was contained there.

Actually I could think of a better idea which I expect would satisfy what I indeed want. Much later, I hope that I would share with you what I learned, if possible.

                            Thank you again.
