The Texas Lottery Commission is seeking bids for new Pick 3 drawing machines - the mechanical kind.

Apparently, the campaign to stop computer drawings in Texas has prevailed!

thanks, bobby623, for the info.  the url has "org" instead of "gov"...

I haven't read the article yet, but don't be too comfortable in assuming they've discarded the computer drawing idea.  They've spent money foolishly in the past and this could be another one of those situations.

I believe they have 3 machines for Pick 3, of which they rotate monthly (A,B,C).  Don't know how long they've used the ones they have....maybe it's just time to buy new ones.

Good luck and thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
