Hi, Im from Michigan.  Me and 7 others decided to pitch in 5 dollars each for the Awesome $340,000,000 lottery Powerball.  They even gave me 20 bucks in gas money. I crossed the border to Indiana(about a 1 hour drive).  I hope this isn't illegal? I can buy powerball tickets in Indiana even though i live in Michigan right?  I found this out on the NEWS. I had the most Fuel Efficient car, so i volunteered to drive.

Anyways.. good luck to All powerball players.

Hey thanks for the reply.  My name is a nickname I got in High School. I had a Southern Accent and people thought it was really wierd because they never heard a Asian with one. Sometimes I got threats because some people thought I was mocking southerners , but thats how i talked.

oh yeah and thanks for saying "South Korean"... people don't know the diffrence between South and North Korean..... if we go to War with North Korean.. i will probably be shot to death because people just dont' know the difference.

I spent two tours on the DMZ. Both with the 2nd Ranger Battalion. I definetely know the difference.

Any way, congrads. You've made a huge step towards winning. Take a larger leap and become a paying member.

        Cheers

Welcome to Lottery Post! If crossing the state line to get Poweball tickets was illegal, there would be a whole lot of people in a whole lot of trouble.

Good luck with your group wager!! Banana

            Good luck to everyone!

From 1959 through 1981.  A long, long time ago, in a far, far away universe. Some great times. Some horrible times. My camping is now restricted king size beds in the Holiday Inn.

Benefits for a paying member? Go to the Premium Features and see. A web page, a cool email address, lots of little things.

If nothing else, support the site owner for the work he puts into the place. Think of it as drinking several cups of coffee in a diner, then leaving no tip for the waitress. Don't you feel better when you leave a tip? I do.

              Cheers

It would only be illegal to send them through a common post carrier like USPS, UPS, Fed EX, etc.

One of the biggest PowerBall jackpots went to a group of workers from Columbus, Ohio who bought their tickets in Indiana before this State had its own multi-state game.  They are probably one of the reason Ohio now has MegaMillions.  MegaMillions stopped travel to adjacent states to play PowerBall and the BigGame, but I don't think it's going to work when the jackpot is $300M+.

My understanding is that it is fine to send them through the carriers you mentioned, UPS, Fed Ex, etc.

It's against US Postal Service regulations to send them through the mail.

                        Good luck to everyone!
