Why hesitate to sign the ticket? That's the first thing I would do.

read the facts pages on various state lottery websites it says on many of them if you sign the ticket then that's the person whom the check will be made out to if you don't want to go public and want to form a trust for your money then the ticket must be signed in the trusts name.

Do you understand that by signing the ticket you cant turn around and form a trust. Thats why i said view your state laws concerning this.

I'm already part of a trust. The trust has my name in it.

You go ahead and sign it that's your prerogative but people with family or pools should take note of the laws concerning signing the ticket. Cause once it's signed that's the way it's gonna be claimed. And doubt they can change it to another name or trust without going through some kind of court action.

I already figured you were single, or head of household. You do know if you sign it you might have to stand before cameras and forgo your chance at remaining an unknown/anonymous pillar of your community. Because they'll post your name and personal information all over the Internet and every news paper column that follows these type of winnings.
