A Missouri Powerball ticket sold at Apple Market, 11501 E. 63rd St. in Raytown, matched all six numbers drawn. The six winning numbers are: 6, 11, 14, 27, 41 and the Powerball number was 38. The cash option amount for the jackpot is estimated at $17.2 million. Apple Market will also receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning jackpot ticket.

Missouri Powerball winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until May 1, 2006.

Cheers

Yes everyone forgot about the mere $36 million dollar winner after the $340 million jackpot was won and claimed. Including the ticket holder...

Let this be a lesson. If you want your anonymity, play the jackpots under 50 million bucks.

I do play the jackpots under 50 million bucks. I am one of those people who wouldn't mind winning even the lowest jackpots.

I would live the lower jackpot numbers, spread the wealth.  However, the lottery commision, on both big games, have stacked the deck.  It is now almost impossible to hit a small level.  With the ball count, you almost have to have $200M to meet the minimum level.  Look at last night MM, one lousy second place winner!  Why?  Becuase the number of players have dropped, so the spread has dropped.

Playing the small numbers only feeds the bottom of the pool.

                        Cheers

MO law says that a winning Lotto or Powerball ticket must be claimed within 60 days from the DRAWING to collect in lump sum. MO may be the only MUSL member to start the clock with the draw.

I wonder where that ticket is sitting right now? I hope they step forward soon, I hate unclaimed jackpots even worse than I do winners besides me. Smiley They must be living in a cave, or still going through all the legal processes.
