Hi, this is just a little nifty short-cut system to figure out what numbers to play for Pick 6 lotteries. Obviously it doesn't work all the time, but sometimes you can pull out of it with a little luck some numbers for Pick 6 lotteries:

Lotto 649 Nov. 23/05

Winning numbers were 04 06 10 17 33 49 (Don't worry about the bonus#)

now convert those numbers to pick 3 numbers

040  610 173  349

Now put the differences for  the individual sets:

0  4  0               6  1  0            7  3         3  4  9

4 6                    5 1                  6 4               1 5

2                       4                     2                  4

(*note for 040 because there were 2 zeros I took the differences as 10-6 and 10-4)

The winning numbers for the next draw were  15 21 31 35 41 46.

If you look closely you can find these numbers. You have to be lucky obviously, and it doesn't work always, but it is interesting when it does!

By the way, you'll notice that # 2 is underlined twice, that's because the bonus number for that next draw was 22. Thanks

Hi, just to let everyone know I hit 2 x 4 using my little short cut system.

Previous draw: Nov 30,  2005

05 18 22 28 29 32      bonus 17

make into pick 3's:

051 822 282 932

use differences

0  5  1     8  2  1 (Drop 1 below from 822)  8   1(Drop 1 below 282)    9    3    2

5  4          6  1                                            6  5                                        6     1

1              5                                                  1                                              5

**The reason for the drop down is to eliminate the doubles, you can leave it as is, your choice. As I said in my previous post, I don't concern myself with the bonus #'s, but you might.

Last night's Winning numbers were : 16, 19, 21, 25, 35, 45    bonus 24

Last night I had      16, 19, 21, 28, 35, 41

05,19, 21, 25, 35, 36

OUCH!!!  Hope some of you will try this. It doesn't always work and sometimes you have to be imaginative and lucky, but I would welcome any comments or suggestions to improve on it.

How does this system compare with an equal amount of quick picks?  It would be interesting to see a running test comparing it with an equal amount of picks from the LP's RNG.  I've tried this with  several systems and the LP's RNG usually does as well or better.

I admit I haven't tried doing a running back test on it. Obviously it can't work all the time(what system does!) but I stumbled on to it after looking at various posts pertaining to picking pick 3 numbers.  Sometimes as you can see from my examples it is a stretch to get the right numbers, but it is cerainly something everyone should look at.

Thanks for showing us your system dynodyno, but I have a question,

Now put the differences for  the individual sets:

0  4  0               6  1  0            7  3         3  4  9

4 6                    5 1                  6 4               1 5

2                       4                     2                  4

How did you get the 46, 51, 64 and 15?

Hi,  for 040 I made the 0 into 10 then I went 10-4 = 6 and 10-6=4 The reason I did it so there was 6 and 4 rather than 4 and 4 or 6 and 6, was to eliminate the doubles. I find it works better this way and for 610 it is 6-1 = 5 and 1-0 =1. As you can see by my examples all I do is take the differences.  For  the next one you asked about 173, you subtract 1-7 =6  and 7-3 = 4.  When you are looking for numbers to play, some times they are in reverse order.  For example in Canada the highest number we can play is 49, so # 64 can't be played, but # 46 can be played.  Hope this helps!

Great Bellyache, try it on some past draws in your area and see how you did.  I would like to see the pick 3 specialists(ie. Tenaj, Blackapple, Tntea etc.) see if they could improve on this in any way, so we can all benefit. Like I said it I just came up with this little system and I hope it can help someone.

Take a good look, because you will find winning pick 3 #'s contained in the winning pick 5 & pick 6 #'s.

It's as if the Friday & weekend pick 5 & pick 6 games set it up for the current week's pick 3.

Do you see any pick 4 winners as well?

There is not only a pattern here but some of the states got the same numbers 030,020 seemed to be prolific.  You have 792,713,638,408,122,916,174 and many more hits.  I will agree that it did indeed set the stage for the week's 3 and four digit numbers.

I'll take a gander at it this upcoming week

See how it is all laid out there for you. No math involved. Just look at the lines and make pick 3's out of those pairs. Look at the results for Fri & the weekend for the pick 5 & pick 6. See how it turns out for the week of December 3- December 10.
