My uncle won 5 out of 6 on Oregon megabucks for a couple of thousand dollars back in the early 90's.  That is the most I have ever heard of anyone that I know of won.

My cousin won 5 of 6 in NY, but it was just a few thousand dollars.

I would have been happy but I got the impression she was really pissed off in not getting the last number.

Don’t Know of any one personally who won Big Money. I got 4 out of 6 and won a bit over 1,000 and I was happy! LOL (It Don’t Take Much, I know!)

This just reminds me of what one of the Big Lottery winners on TV said: He said: People do not remember you for what car you drive, shoes you ware or what shirt you were wearing on any particular day. BUT what people DO remember you by is How You Have Helped Them!!!!! And I say Bravo to that!!!! It is so true!

        Hello everyone,

My friend once won $100,000 on the IL. lottery TV show.

Another friend won 3 1/2 Mil. and moved to Florida.

A person that I knew ,but not very good, who lived in my neighborhood won like 65 Mil. He was a police officer and did not retire because he didn't want to loose his pension. (Go figure!)

A bar in our area was the winner of... .something like  170 Mil. There was a big suit that lasted for a long time and the winner had to give some of the winnings to people that came in the bar. (Story is) They gave one person money to buy the tickets and then he/she came back and just past out the tickets to everyone. The losers sued !

There was another person in our area that won something like 60 Mil.. He opened a liquor store close to us and worked there for a while then sold it . Never heard anything else about him. I guess it took him a year to find out he didn't need to make anymore !!!!

Many years ago my son was on the $100.000 TV program, but only won $1,500.  The whole family went to the taping of the show and we all really had a great time.

My son also won the little lotto about 6 years ago . (Long story !) can't say anymore about it here.

        Have a great Holiday/ Christmas everyone .

        Good luck to all !!!!

That bar winner would be Frank Capaci, wouldn't it?

I think he got himself in a lot of trouble, but the world record for lottery trouble has to be Whittaker.

She still resides in the community. Her fiancee' is more the talk around the town then she is. Their story is an interesting one...

I'd like to think with such luck around me, I'm bound to get struck with it on the upcoming raffle New Years Eve!

My second cousin won 50k a year for 20 years in 1980, Connecticut's 13th phony millionaire. Of course there was no such thing as a cash option back then.

I'm sure you told him what a rip off it was and that he should just not accept it anymore.....

Personally, I don't know anyone in my family is currently living off of lotto money. That's my current vote.
