I'd still play.  You'll see me still buying Powerballs and Mega Millions on my reality tv show starring me, Paris Hilton, and Tara Reid.  You'll also see me partying with them on Tara's show, Taradise.

AP:

You will NEVER win. And don't even think of asking LA to join Lose for Life.

Cash, don't jinx me.  Chances are i'll never win but there's still a chance.  I don't live in LA anymore.  I live in NM.  And I very, very rarely buy scratch offs anyway.  All I play is Powerball and Mega Millions.

I have a friend in Jenks (pronounced "jinx"), OK. She works at a store that sell lottery tickets.

LOL that's funny.  The winning powerball ticket will probably come from there.

And they will choose cash. But we'll probably have to wait a while for an OK winner.

Nope, it'll be payments.  We had 2 powerball winners last year that chose that.  Hooray for payments!Party

And everyone else chose lump sum! The 2 PB losers are why MUSL changed the matrixes (and the annuity) last year, so that NO ONE would choose annual payments.

No, isn't that what they want?  for people to choose annual payments?

They changed the matrix because 3 people were winning $30 million jackpots.

Next MUSL will go to 40 annual payments with a balloon at the end, like the $1 billion Pepsi games. Nobody will want THAT kind of annuity!

I always thought they'd want winners to choose annual payments.

If MUSL wanted everybody to choose annuity, there would not be a PB cash option. Then everybody would be playing Mega Millions.

I don't understand.  Wouldn't they pay out less money for annual payments?  Wouldn't the winner just be getting their interest?

You're right, you don't understand. The rest of the lottery world is looking down on you.

                            Oh cash,  ha ha.  funny.

What happens if I choose annual payments and win?  Would I be able to change if I want?  I'd always kind want the option.

Hahahaha!  If I won a truly life-changing jackpot, I'd set up the parameters for grants from my charitable trust, let the board of trustees tend to the details, and go back to my quilting.  No need to even think about a lottery again!
