I have noticed that some states do not collect income tax on their own state lotteries. I am wondering what states that includes. Here's a list of the ones I know of that don't tax anyone:

Delaware; New Jersey; Pennsylvania; Washington DC (non-residents only); New Hampshire; Florida; Tennessee; South Dakota; Texas; Washington State; All Canadian Lotteries.

And the ones that do tax everyone:

Connecticut; New York State; New York City (residents only); Maryland; Washington DC (residents only); Virginia; Georgia; Indiana; Ohio; Illinois; Iowa; North Dakota; Oregon; Maine.

Anyone know about the rest?

California doesn't tax lottery prizes either.
