I think you mean "red flag".  If you want to bet online, I think you will have to give your SS# to ANY company.  Even though betslip is off shore, if you win big and collect $10,000 or more, they have to report the transfer of money.  I think you will find that they give you a choice of how to sign up.  I believe you can do it through the mail.

Along the same line, I'm always amused by people (not you casiecoco) that won't give out personal info over the internet but will over the phone.  It is very easy to listen to phone calls but much more difficult to intercept anything on an encrypted web page.

                CD,

I totally agree on the internet vs. phone thing.  The phone is one of the most unsecure things on the planet, yet people are willing to give out almost any piece of info over the phone.

On the other hand, SSL technology over the internet completely encrypts your communications, making it one of the most secure ways to do business.

I always try to explain that to people, but it gets lost many times.

casiecoco, Betslips does not take your SSN.  It is taken by Click2Pay during registration for that payment site, and I know this because I went through the process myself.  If you went through Neteller at that "other" site, you'd be doing the same thing.

Click2Pay states right on the page that they do not store the SSN.  It is only used to verify that you are who you say you are (they do one of those instantaneous checks using SSN), and then it is discarded.

CLick 2 Pay is a major company, and is widely known as the fastest-growing commerce company in gaming.  Take a look at any online casino, and you'll see they take Click 2 Pay.  I don't believe you have anything to worry about with letting them use your SSN to verify your identity.  If anything, it is reassuring to know that they verify everything so strictly, so that nobody will end up stealing your info down the road.

I think one advantage to betslips is the ability to bet on CT & TN midday.  I haven't been online betting for about 6 weeks now so I don't know if the quarter store changed that policy yet.  But I do believe when I was perusing thru betslip that it had CT and TN midday.  That is a definite plus for those people who bet in those states.

I know nothing about the funding options as I have not placed a bet yet.  By the way, is that when the funding stuff comes up when you put it in your cart and submit?  Does anyone know the options?  I only went to look...........did not see anything about the funding part.  I assume it is all there after you submit it in your cart......lol........not gonna do that for awhile.

                    Congrats, Lucky!!!

I agree, LottoMike.  I sent in a suggestion about separating the draw times for the midday and evening draw.  As it stands now, you must place all your bets by noon EST I believe. for midday AND evening.  Since I do most of my workouts off of the midday draw for the evening the very same day, that is a serious flaw to a person like me.  Some people do not mind.

I got back a reply to my suggestion very quickly.  They were courteous and said they would consider it and have their development team look into it.  I was very impressed.

I would suggest that anyone who wants two different cut-off times to click the suggestion box and send a suggestion.  I think the more people who want it, the better off we are.
