Does anyone know anything about Delware lottery drawings that might help explain the non-random-looking results?

(Hint: you may want to check the State Lottery Report Card in the Results menu.)

Well, although DE has brought up the notion of switching back to a ball machine, DE uses an RNG to draw its numbers.  As we have noticed with other states, these computers can easily be manipulated.  It's basically similar programming as the programming used to design an RNG in a TI-83 calculator.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Mildly interesting.  ALL lotteries use big accounting firms, so there is nothing special there.  It is not surprising that the accounting firm supports whatever position the lottery takes on their drawings.  That's because the accounting firm wouldn't be around much longer if they went public with any disagreements on the drawings!

You can bet that the accounting firm would suddenly think traditional drawings were the best thing since sliced bread if the DE Lottery decided to dump their horrible computerized drawings.

Todd!  Really?  What do you mean "non-random-looking"?

Do you mean 14,2,1,1,1 keeps popping up more than it should?

You know there are patterns and patterns inside patterns.

Where is your analysis that shows that this pattern happens more than it should?

Maybe you are just bored and are trolling???

I don't like the RNGs either though!

            Why?

Like everyone else I like to see the inputs, process, and outputs.

With RNG all you see is the output (very few people, if any, really know how the RNG spits out its numbers).

Judging from your message, you have no clue what the word "trolling" means.  It is much more fitting to the message you posted.

I wished that DE goes back to ball drawings, not random generating because their report card isn't good right now.

Well, if trolling is not deliberatley trying to be inciteful to get a response then I guess I have no clue and would like to know what it really means.

As far as your statement  when you say it is "non-random-looking"  I really do not have a clue as to what you base your opinion on and I really would like to know.

                  Thanks

Cool!  Does anyone know who makes the equipment for DE and IA?

Maybe we could find out what other states use it?  If this happens really often then....

I stopped playing Delaware's lotto games because I became convinced and still AM that they are RIGGED. (You listening Del. Lotto Execs and Legislators????)

                        Why?

                        The drawings are computer driven.

I am convinced that the computer searches the combinations bought and is programmed to choose other numbers that don't win.

The old lotto game "suddenly" had a winner the very last drawing before the new present game began.  Funny, no publicity was ever given to the winner of that drawing if he or she really does exist...

When we all stop playing computer driven/rigged games (is there a difference?) then those states will go back to true, genuine, AUTHENTIC randomness!

                        Let's hear it for RANDOMNESS!

Unfortunately, the thing we all hail with Delaware (anonymous winners) is the very thing that made us not trust the results of the last old Delaware Lotto drawing. All I can say is that the only game I buy in Delaware right now is Powerball. Despite having anonymous winners for Powerball too, this is a small state and eventually it gets out at the very least where the winner is (ie: when 33 people from a factory in Seaford split the jackpot, the names were never published but eventually you had a pretty good idea of who won).

It would be pointless to try to discuss this matter with the director. He's not interested.
