Hi, I downloaded your Pick 3 software to a diskette.  How do I open it at the "A" prompt?

Thanks!

    Hi Greg,

i guess you will have to open your windows explorer, navigate to your A-disk, and doubleclick the .exe file. (you'll first have to unzip after download, winzip can downloaded from www.winzip.com and is free)

      Hi all,

Califdude & Lantern pointed out that digits 0 and 9 should also be considered consecutive digits.
There is now a new version available for download in which this has been taken care of.
The download-links are also in my signature.
The new pick3 engine should say V 1.1.0 in the titlebar.
The new pick4 engine should say V 1.3.0 in the titlebar.

              Well, there's a new version (again lol); V 1.7.0.

This one has the width-filters for both box and straight:
              - width box: There are 3 widths
                  *  "Lowest-Middle": This is the difference between the lowest digit and the middle digit
                  *  "Middle-Highest": this is the difference between the middle digit and the highest digit
                  *  "Lowest-Highest": this is the difference between the lowest digit and the highest digit

              - width Straight: There are also 3 widths
                  *  "XX_": this is the difference between the first and the second digit in the number (left pair)
                  *  "_XX": this is the difference between the second and the third digit in the number (right pair)
                  *  "X_X": this is the difference between the first and the third digit in the number (split pair)

It also has the LMH-filters for both box and straight. (there is another LMH-filter, for digits, which i will implement later on)
This LMH-filter is pretty similar to the HighLow-filter in this wheeling engine,
              L represents the digits: 0, 1 and 2
              M represents the digits 3, 4, 5 and 6
              H represents the digits 7, 8 and 9
For box there are 10 patterns
For straight there are 27 patterns.

There is a helpfile available, by clicking the "Wheel help" button. (it is a Word-doc)
This wheeling engine is becoming pretty extended, this helpfile might come in handy, or at least read it....

The first image shows the form when you select "Positional" in the box "Digituse".
The second image shows the form when you select "Any position" in the box "Digituse". (this is the default setting when you open the tool)

Have fun, enjoy, and make some $$$

I don't really play Pick 3 that much and haven't download this, but I must say that you are very generous for offering this wheeling engine paurths. Thumbs Up

                      Hi all,

i've added the pairs-filters, for both box and straight.
After starting the tool, you'll see and extra button in the bottom of the form, just right from the yellow box where the created numbers are filled in.

                      button box pairs

and if you select "positional" then you'll see this button

                      button pairs straight

These buttons have the amount of pairs selected in their caption:
"Pairs - BOXED : 0" <--> means that there are 0 pairs selected
"Pairs - Straight; LP: 0  RP: 0  SP: 0" means that there are 0 pairs selected.
There can be 3 different pairs for straight:
                      - LP: left pair e.g. 123 <--> 1 and 2 are the left pair
                      - RP: right pair e.g. 123 <--> 2 and 3 are the right pair
                      - SP: split pair e.g. 123 <--> 1 and 3 are the split pair

                      boxed pair selectionwindow:
                      boxed pairs selection

You can either select pairs manually, or use one of the buttons to select several pairs immediatly.
Once you have used a button, for example "Select double-pairs", its caption will change to "De-select double pairs", so when you press it again, it will unselect.
Same goes for both other buttons.

Click the close-button and the selection will be saved (remembered) by the engine.
The button will then show how many pairs there are selected. (just a reminder when using the engine)

                      Straigh pair selectionwindow:
                      straight pairs selectionwindow

Same here as for the boxed window, but ofcourse you can select from 3 different kind of pairs.

please be sure to double check when using these filters,
i have tested them myself, but i might have missed a thing or two (i don't think so, but one nevers knows...)

This is the downloadlink, can also be found in my signature, or just by clicking on one of the images.

                      This is version 2.3.0

                      Cheers,
                      Ricky
