I was just checking out some good info on the box combos for root sums and found the following:
. . Root sum 3 on average should draw 1 in every 9 drawings, based on boxed combos (25 possible combinations)
Root sum 6 on average should draw 1 in every 9 drawings, based on boxed combos (25 possible combinations)
. Root sum 9 on average should draw 1 in every 9 drawings, based on boxed combos (25 possible combinations)
Now, would it be a good idea to play these root sums when they become grossly overdue? For instance, if root sum 9 is out say 20 drawings, to start pounding those combinations? Seems like eventually they will hit (although never guaranteed). I have put together some progressions that aren't steep that will allow to play these for a long time. Think this is a bad idea?
Also, do root sums work on Pick-4 as well? I know that BlackApple is a huge proponent of the Root Sum, but I am a little confused as to when to use this strategy. Any advice? Thanks...
