Here's a method I've used the last couple days and have had pretty good results with.

For those of you who have the Emma Lou program, this may be the best way to go about using it and getting better results with just 19 picks per state. I'm hoping some of you will be able to hone in on the best set of statistics which will produce a higher than break-even result.

First, you'll need to have full access to the statistics pages here on LP. Upgrade to a premium membership so you can see the full statistics for the pick 4 games.

On the statistics pages you will find the numbers ranked according to the number of times they have been drawn over selected periods of time.

For instance, yesterday evening I played the Missouri Pick 4 using this new method.

I looked at the 40 day stats and wrote down the eight out of ten numbers that were ranked highest and drawn most often over a 40 day period. They were as follows...

07319582 < (leaving out the 4 and the 6)

When two or more numbers were in a tie, I used the dates as tie breakers. If the dates couldn't break the tie, then I followed numeric order.

Then I jumped to the 20 day stats and put them in order as follows...

07831259 < (leaving out the 4 and the 6 again)

Now, I have my 16 numbers to type into Emma...

0731958207831259

Now, just click the "Git 'em Emma" button for the 19 picks...

1090 - 2757 - 5883 - 9321
7312 - 3123 - 2395 - 3952
5210 - 2109 - 0907 - 9073
0589 - 1871 - 7588 - 0795
3182 - 0712 - 8359

These are the actual picks I played on betslips yesterday and got the payout of $187.50 for the double 7588. (the actual draw was 8875)

I was surprised how close I was getting on the other states I played using this same method.

Many of the states I had 3 out of 4 numbers correct.

I also hit the Kentucky midday yesterday for $93.75 using the stats of 100 days followed by 10 days.

I think the options for stats listings are 10 days, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, and 100 days.

This method could be optimized by knowing what the best two set of stats are, which I don't as of yet.

Had I played box only, I would have made a profit yesterday of $140.00 from just those two hits out of 15 states both mid and eve draws. (yeah, I know, I spent a lot yesterday - 19 picks per states box and straight bets)

I only made $5.25 yesterday because I was trying for straights as well as boxes.

I think getting just one hit every 285 picks is a little low and can be improved, so here you are.

See if you can squeeze out better results. I think someone can do it better than I.

Today, I'm using the 100/10 stats for 15 states box only.

The 100 day stats are good for catching those long running hot numbers whereas the 10 day stats account for the overdue and/or cold numbers that have just come into play again.

I'll keep you posted on the results I get today for the midday drawings.

You may want to consider the idea of NOT hunting for 4 digits, but instead, hunt down 3 of the 4 digits. Then simply snag the 4th digit when you play ALL 10 of the set (ABC0  thru ABC9). In the past, I can always come up with 3 digits on Cash4. I hope to repeat the win from the other nite using the same approach for the future games.

Oh, one side note, in GA, be on the look out for 289x in the evenings. A quick review of what has happened since May 1 this year, if you only played the Evening Games for $1 Box, it would have costed $380 and you would have won $1200 ($880 profit). These figures are based on playing at the store, not online (at the moment, I do not play online).

        Good Luck to all

I would play just your 'Git 'em Emma' picks for today box only to see how it works.

I've got my picks selected and locked in already for midday and for Tennessee mine are a bit different than yours because today I decided to not break the ties with the dates but to just put the ties down in numeric order to see if I can improve my results a little.

So, my Tennessee picks are as follows...

          3557 - 4284 - 8729 - 6163
          4936 - 9361 - 6168 - 1684
          8435 - 4355 - 5574 - 5749
          7876 - 3223 - 2827 - 7458
          9326 - 5234 - 7186

plugging in these numbers ... 74935826 (100 day stats) followed by 52713486 (10 day stats)

With the 40/20 method from above in mind, here's what I've come up with for today's Illinois Midday drawing:

              6090 - 8925 - 2578 - 7116
              5861 - 8611 - 1172 - 1728
              2860 - 8609 - 0905 - 9058
              0257 - 6796 - 9275 - 0592
              8671 - 0968 - 5127

              1590 - 3425 - 7078 - 2616
              0361 - 3111 - 6672 - 6228
              7360 - 3109 - 5405 - 4558
              5757 - 1296 - 4775 - 5092
              3171 - 5468 - 0627

              6540 - 8475 - 2028 - 7666
              5311 - 8161 - 1622 - 1278
              2310 - 8159 - 0455 - 9508
              0707 - 6246 - 9725 - 0042
              8121 - 0418 - 5677

              6045 - 8970 - 2523 - 7161
              5816 - 8666 - 1127 - 1773
              2815 - 8654 - 0950 - 9003
              0202 - 6741 - 9220 - 0547
              8626 - 0913 - 5172

                8626 - 0913 - 5172

                Good Luck,

                John

You just want to use the first 19 picks. You don't need the rest of them - they are simply mirrors of the first 19. Of course, the winner could be in the mirrors, but it's a lot of numbers to play - too many for the payouts to be worth covering lots of states in one day.

I just play the "Git 'em Emma" picks only for box only for only $4.75 per state.

Here is another thought.  Maybe the last 30 (could be more or less) Last Drawn.  Starting on the top, take the top 8, put them in Emma Lou and then reverse the same 8 for your second set of digits.  I have done it the way Steve suggested and then my new try.

Putting in the Last Drawn and reversing does not look good ... too many duplicates.  So, if you didn't reverse them for the second set of 8, but rather used every other one, you would have:

                      .

                      67142950 61257490

                      .

                      7626 - 4197 - 9251 - 0504
                      7140 - 1405 - 0509 - 5094
                      9476 - 4762 - 6267 - 2671
                      6920 - 4517 - 1952 - 6729
                      1450 - 6174 - 2590

                      .

Using that method there are only 3 duplicates:

I don't know why, but your picks just look like good picks to me.

Mine look the same to me as well.

I think there is something to this method that gets the odds down just a little bit more for us.

That 3 showed up in Georgia today. It wasn't anywhere in my picks either.
