I've never heard of it. Then again, what counts is how many combinations does he expect you to play with his formula daily? The idea is to make a profit off the daily games. THe more combos you play in Pick 3, the less the chance of that, even if you do hit. That's true even online. It's doubly true if you have to play your own state's game "on the street". The states have horrible payoff odds-per-cost of play.
