June 19 saw what might have been the first booby prize in Unlucky for Life since mid-January. Will tonight's 6/6 be the last for this hated game?

No. PA doesn't give up on it's games. They'll revamp LFL before they get rid of it. Hopefully if they do they'll make the top prize enough to raise a family in a comfortable middle-class setting (i.e. $100,000/year). And yeah, a cash option would be nice too. We have a ton of old folks here.

My vote is for yes. I want to see PA end the booby prize and go back to classic jackpot game.

The PA Lottery benefits senior citizens. The PA Lottery poobahs should have remembered that when they developed Unlucky for Life.

Thursday, June 22: no booby prize. Fewer than 3,900 fourth prizes. That's more like it!!!

CASH Only, what's the lowest total number of prizes won in Unlucky For Life so far in a certain draw? Was June 22nd in Unlucky For Life had lowest number of fourth prizes? If not, which day?

There have been drawings with fewer than 4,000 losers (not counting "instant winners.") I've seen drawing(s) with less than 3,500 fourth prizes.

Hopefully not much longer. It's a terrible game.

I think PA will keep the game. If it is making them a bunch of money, I don't see why they would get rid of it.

CASH Only, I think Unlucky For Life will end before 2007. They go back to a classic lotto game with cash only option starting at $1 million.

I'd like to see PA join Hot Lotto, even with its computerized drawings. The PA midday draws are already done by RNG.

Let's hope HL replaces Unlucky for Life in November. HL is adding another state by year's end.

Pennsylvania is not joining Hot Lotto according to sources inside the lottery. But they do say they are beginning a new game. Whether this is just another Millionaire Raffle, or it's a totally new game that may or may not replace Lucky For Life, remains to be seen. Let's just hope that game they replace is Lucky For Life, and not Match 6, because I love Match 6, but not a big fan of Lucky For Life. Personally, I'd like to see Lucky For Life stay, but with the following changes:

                            • Growing jackpot of some kind.
                            • $1 price
                            • No Instant Gimmick feature
But my preference would be completely new game, or a return to an old favorite like Super 7 or Wild Card Lotto.

PA probably thinks it's too big for HL, which does need a matrix change, or even go to $2 a game.

How can you suggest changes to Unlucky for Life without adding a cash option?
