Here's the second half of today's experiment for all states selections, slight changes having already been made in the method:

Midday picks:

064 164 193 382 384 392 560 562 568 850 860 864 874 875 974

For doubles players:

060 660 774 775 776 778 838 868 884 977

Triples:  000 777

Only those who attempt the absurd can achieve the impossible.

Two box hits last night:  834 NE and SC 006.  Two close calls with the 77 pair in Quebec and West Canada, but I didn't have it with a 1 or 2.  Last, but not least, one straight hit in KY with the 382 there.  I think this one paid for itself with that one.

Are you playing them straight only or str/box?

I forgot it cost more to play the night draws than the day.  If you play straight, then 1 straight hit should cover the cost, barely and only if you play the states and not Canada, but if you play box, then 6 box hits would be required.  For the day draws, one straight hit would be a nice profit and 4 box hits would cover the cost.  Maybe sticking with the day draws would be better.  I might just play straight as it seems getting that many box hits would be harder to do.  Of course, getting even one straight hit is not that easy.

Well, so far you are not coming close to beating the odds.  The odds are you will have 7 hits each day (not Sunday, of course).  You might want to try my playing cards method.  It works very well.  It might be buried in my Blog, so I will briefly explain it here.

Take a deck of playing cards and take out all the face cards.  Shuffle the deck well.  Deal 3 cards off the top of the deck.  That is your first number.  The Ace is 1 and the 10 is zero; all other cards are face value.  I go until I have the number of tickets I want to play and don't shuffle.  There are some people that shuffle after each time they take 3 cards off the deck.  I don't like that method, but it works for some people.

Try it.  You might be surprised.  Some people have even tried it and posted their numbers before the draw.  I think it was to prove me wrong, but they hit more than once and stopped posting those numbers!!

No one beats the odds.  But I think playing straight and getting one, even to only just break even makes playing a little bit more fun.

I just did it with cards.  I came up with 13 tickets going through the deck without shuffling after each time.  I put the numbers into Inspector 3 to get rid of any boxed duplicates, but there were none.

So, see how these do in Texas (or any other state for that matter) this evening:

              465 767 394 589 981 517 023 025 420 638 026 483 117

I left them in the order they came off the deck.
