Many thanks!  Maybe tomorrow I'll take some time to write up all the changes.  There are lots.

For replies just don't use the included text? There used to be a reply button on the bottom of the page where the new topic and new poll buttons are.

Considering it's all hand coded it's quite the undertaking. You could start competing with vbulletin.

Also I noticed it doesn't do nestled quotes.

              Thank you!

The things I am most proud of, because I came up with the ideas myself, and they turned out pretty cool are:

              • Getting rid of "Quote" button, and using Reply for everything.
              • Including/excluding previous poster's text with check button, and having it visually indicate if it's going to be included. (Uses AJAX to go back to the server and redraw the quoted text as you click the checkbox.)
              • Very cool new interface for voting on a poll, with instant redraw once you vote.  (Also uses AJAX.)
              • The page back/forward control, which is a tremendously sophisticated little control.  It mimics the new page control in IE7, and that same look seems to be all the rage with Microsoft's newest "Vista" versions of their software, like Media Player.  I am particularly happy with that control.  I'm thinking of submitting it to the .NET development community.
              • Resizable editor - just drag the little handle in the lower-right of the editor to make it any size - and it remembers that size the next time.
              • New Ratings control - uses AJAX for instant seemless saving of rating.
              • New Favorites menu.  This one uses AJAX twice -- once to draw the popup menu dynamically, and once to save the selection.
              • New e-mail subscribe button, which -- you guessed it -- uses AJAX to save the setting dynamically, with redrawing the whole page.

I may end up putting an extra Reply button at the bottom, just because people are accustomed to seeing one there.  I'm sure there will be lots of other minor interface changes that I'll make as well.

Thanks for your comments.  Please let me know if you have any other feedback as you look around.

thanks for all your hard work.

i notice that when you click on a username/members name in a post the lil box dosn't open up with the functions to check their profile, posts, etc.

it works fine in other areas but not in a post.
