Still don't believe me that NY Lotto is the world's biggest ripoff?

Look at the (4/6 and 5/6) payouts for Saturday, July 29, my 43d b-day:

Might be a ripoff, but it isn't "the world's biggest ripoff"

That was done by a dude named D.B. Cooper.

    Everything since takes second place.

The big dig is a much bigger rip off than what DB Cooper could have pulled off. Enron and worldcom also are good seconds if not in first place.

Who was DB Cooper? If he was still alive, I doubt he'd play NY Lotto.

He was the first person to hijack an airplane for cash. Some of his cash (about half) has been discovered as weathered bills near the Columbia river in WA state. Since he wasn't smart enough to ask for non-sequential bills all bills discovered are easily traced by the FBI. His body is likely somewhere near the dense forest surrounding Mt Adam since he also didn't have the sense to wear a helmet or proper clothing for skydiving as well.

His actions did start metal searches at airports and doors in airplanes can't be opened unless the pressure is the same outside as inside the plane.

Actually, not so.  He was just the first to use the method of exiting the aircraft in flight after hijacking it for money.

Whatever the FBI, pilots, skydivers, and anyone else who knew anything might have thought about D.B. Cooper, then and now, his intelligence has never been an issue up for question.

Monday morning quarterbacking aside, half the country used to wear tee-shirts saying, "WHERE'S DB COOPER?"

His body might possibly be there.  Or it might be in Tahiti or Margueritaville.

Mostly it's all speculation these days where he is, with one view just about as valid as any other.  But not many have ever questioned his intelligence, nor the matter of whether it was one of the major ripoffs in history, considering the times.

We must have hung around with the same people, Jack!  There's a restaurant in Nashua NH (at there was when I lived there) called D.B. Cooper's which was a popular spot for Happy Hour.

DB Cooper has even shown up in the lyrics of a song by Kid Rock, of all people..

"And D B Cooper and the money he took  -  it's ok , cause it's all in fun....now get in the pit and try to love someone..."
