I think this is proof that low numbers don't mean a rollover won't happen. Most people play quickpicks and those who take the time to play their own numbers avoid having all numbers below 30. 1-2-3-4-5 and other obvious combinations might be the only real exceptions.

I wonder how high it will get. I thought it was going to be won before it hit $200 million.

max cap be 390"i think?"  if it cap it self

then on to 400m +! lets have a year of big winnings!

but 300m + it well do for sure, as it must roll!

sence its now 204m, and MM is a white trash 15m

come on over mm players! and state line players

lets grow this jackpot to the Big ones

Powerball Jackpot for Sat, Aug 5, 2006

            $204,000,000

            $92,700,000

Gross Prize30 average annual payments of $6,800,000
             Lump-sum cash: $92,700,000
            - 25% Federal Tax- $1,700,000
             - $23,175,000
            Subtotal
            $5,100,000

            $69,525,000

if you pay tax  the max they an charge is 355 and that be:

Your average net per year: $4,420,000 Your net payout: $60,255,000

letter being the lump-sum if you jsut withhold 355 and be done with it all,

but geez 60m in pure atfer tax cash, wtf is someone gonig to do with that.

I think part of the saving grace was that the Powerball number was not the largest number of the six. I was very shocked that it rolled, although I was correct about there being more second place winners than statistically expected (it was about double the expectation based on sales and odds of matching 5+0). Also, my own state, Iowa, had one of the three $800,000 PowerPlay winners, so maybe it was my grandpa this time (it was not him who had it four draws ago). Iowa had a normal $200,000 winner as well, although it was not me, as I did not hit even one number :-(.

I hope PB continues to roll and finally hits at 390 million [cap value].

Ya know, I'd be ecstatic with the minimum of 10 million, and I'd be happy with a pick 5 of 200K.

I seem to get either NO numbers, or 3 of 5 lately.

But sure, if ya forced me, I guess I could find something to do with 200+ million.
