I think Todd should allow this - I don't see any type of commercial advertisement from this site.

The instructions are simple

Please pick a random number between 1 and 100:
Don't expect much.  Once you enter your random number, next there is a small optional questionaire.  He will send published results to anyone entering their email address.  Just thought it was interesting and would be interesting to see what kind of results he gets.

I just tried it. The questions were interesting. I'm not sure what he hopes to reap from this but it was harmless fun for a minute.

    Thanks!

Funny that I never thought of entering a number over 53!  I only chose 6 anyway.  When I was in first grade I won a prize by picking the number 6.  Ever since that, 6 is always a number that comes to mind.

Someone should e-mail the guy and tell him to consider lottery players one of his categotries, otherwise he's going to have some really skewed data!

Here's a cool trick I learned from David Blaine. He's a street magician, for those who don't know. It won't work on everyone, however, when it does, It's a great feeling. Blaine did this to the viewing audience on TV. In other words, he told people who were watching the show to pick a number. Again, It won't work all the time. I think one reason it doesen't work on everyone is because they THINK TOO HARD....That's the key.

It definitely worked on me, and I jumped out of my chair. Try this on your friends.

Before I tell you how it works, I'm gonna try this on the folks here at the LP. But you have to be honest with me, because I'm not physically in front of you. Here goes...

DON'T THINK ABOUT IT FOR LONG.......JUST THINK OF THE FIRST NUMBER THAT COMES TO MIND, OR IT WON"T WORK!!

Pick a two digit number between 1 and 50.

The numbers have to be odd, and no doubles.

THE ANSWER IS IN MY BLOG, UNDER THE TITLE "ANSWER"

If you picked XX, you were hard wired for this to work properly. If you didn't,you probably just thought of a different number or thought too hard or didn't do something right...LOL

You should see the peoples reactions. I did this to a 15 year old girl, and when I opened the piece of folded paper, revealing the number XX, she jumped up screaming and left the area blaming me of being a devil worshipper....

Her boyfriend calmed her down...LOL It was hilarious. Too many other instances to mention.

Here's another one. Ask your victim the following questions.

How much is 2+2? (when they answer, go to the next question)

How much is 4+4? ( Ditto)

              How much is 8+8? (Ditto)

              How much is 16+16?

When they say 34 as the answer to the last question, ask them to pick a number from 5 thru 12, and again, if it works, they should say the number 7. This one seems to work more often than the first trick.

              Good Luck.

Since I failed at trick #1 - I want to be sure I have trick #2 correct. Should they say 34 - is that a trick response?  Or a typo and it should be 32?

I get my random numbers from www.random.org

It's hosted from the University of Dublin and also has good explanations of randomness and non-random generators. They are also used by many other universities as a provider of random numbers for studies.
