The Powerball has been hit two times in a row, why wasn't the news posted here?  Are they on vacation or am I missing something?

It is on the Main web page USA MEGA.  The winners have not come forward.  I am sure todd will post it in the news section when they come forward.-weshar75

Technically speaking, the Powerball Jackpot has been won on 3 consecutive drawings...

      Sept 23- $200M

      Sept 27- $  15M

      Sept 30- $  15M

What are the odds of this happening?

Did the Wisconsin winners come forward?  If so do we know how many total winners (was it exactly 100?) and how many took annuity versus lump sum?

Also there was a Mega Millions winner on August 1st  in New York.  They were from Queens and won $31 million.  Does anyone know if they came forward?  It is always interesting to hear the winner's story and also see if they chose annuity or lump sum.  If they chose lump sum how much was it before income taxes?

The Wisconsin 100 have come forward:

Wisconsin "MIRACLE 100" Claim Their $208 Million Jackpot
A group of 100 workers from the Sargento cheese factory stepped forward on September 27, 2006 to claim their Powerball prize of $208 million. The group will split the jackpot evenly. Seventy-five members of the group appeared at a press conference held at the store that sold the winning ticket - the Ma & Pa store on Main Street in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The "Miracle 100", as they call themselves, is the largest group ever to claim a Powerball jackpot. The group hit the jackpot on August 5, 2006

Powerball is a Jackpot Game, so maybe you should look in the Jackpot Games Forum.

NY and Texas still require the cash/annuity choice to be made when purchasing a ticket. California did so on Super Lotto Plus until it joined MM last year.

I'm really shocked that PB jackpot won three times in a row after a string of 100+ million jackpots. Has the Kansas jackpot winner and/or Louisana jackpot winner come forward and take cash?

Kansas winner collected today.  The winner chose the cash option and they remained anonymous.-weshar75
