If there were going to be a weekend seminar hosted for Lottery Post members, how many of us would be willing to travel and go? I recently went to a seminar with my sister for people trying to break into the music business and I really had a lot of fun surprisingly. For $99, not including our hotel room or food, of course, we got a whole weekend of classes and meetings and exchanging ideas, it was well worth it. Somehow I was just thinking about one for all us folks here. What are your thoughts and ideas? For one I was thinking of all the Excel experts here giving us newbies a class or two. Any comments? Please share.

Thanks!!

Sounds like it could be interesting and fun from the social aspect, but I already have more than enough ways to pick my numbers. I think I'd rather spend the money on lottery tickets.

Being from Europe it would not be easy to join you all.

But next year i'll be in the USA, so if there happens to be a date set, and it fits into my time-span, then i would most certainly take a little "curve" in my roadplans.

During my career as a Nurse, I have attended many seminars, mostly because they were manditory. When done right, they were entertaining and very informative. While others may have been boring, just meeting people with the same interest a was bonus.

Just setting a seminar up can be a tedious challenge, but it could be rewarding in the end. Because as we all know, you learn something new everyday.

There is a thread here about holding an LP convention.  Most of the posts were downright funny.  Do  search and you will find it.

I still favor Tunica, Mississppi, as the site.

Any casino town would be far too distracting, especially if a bunch of lottery players had Keno available.

I say pick a site like Fargo, ND, or Bangor, Maine - in the winter- and see who really wants a seminar.

Anyone want to take a guess at what kind of BR (bankroll) one might have to bring to such a seminar - beyond transportation, lodging, and food?  Like to 'live test' the theories and systems that would be being exchanged and tried out?

Sorry - I'm in the federal witness protection program so I need to keep a low profile.  :-)

                          Green laugh

"A group of people arrived at the hotel tonight, all equipped with pencils, notepads upon notepads, calculators, and a couple of gizmos that looked like something out of Star Trek. Most of them also had those "lottery wallets" that the state loteries give out to keep your playslips and tickets in.

When asked about thisthey, to a person,  denied having anything to do whatsoever with any lottery seminar.

Many were sporting "WPP" hats and tee-shirts and an anonymous tipster said he heard a heated discussion among themselves pertaining to the W standing fo "winners" or "witness".

One of them, apparently the treasurer for the group, (he flashed a bankroll that would 'choke a horse) kept asking hotel personnel the location of the nearest convenience store."

I'm all for it, but I think we need to have it in a casino town. All the talk of playing the lottery will give me the itch and I will need to have a backscratcher to scratch it.

Coin Toss, don't forget to add:

Outside there was a violent protest.  On one side of the street mounted policemen had to control the mob with picket signs reading "ANNUAL PAYMENTS - TAKE THE ANNUITY"

On the other side, trying to get through the crowded street and the blockades were people loudly chanting & clapping  "CASH, CASH, CASH, CASH"
