Thanks for the reply Sweet & Sexy. I am very, very new to the lottery and PICK 3. College degree in Math however, so the math part I have read does not scare me.
Since my gross income is now Social Security, I can't exactly afford to play 40 numbers each night. My favorite game is PICK 3 at night. I spend most of the day looking at the numbers and looking for patterns. Then, I go to Albertsons and purchase my tickets. The maximum I have played in one game so far has been about 20 numbers.
The $150 "G" Number system is nice reading but I'm not sold on it at all. Maybe if I played the 300 combinations it produces I'd win.
I have down loaded most of the software from Ion and have spent the past week running programs and trying to decipher the order of how and when to run. Am not having any luck generating combinations - the most important part of any system.
Last night I worked from about 6PM until about 5AM looking at all of the night drawings from PICK 3 here in Texas for the past few months. I then wrote the SUM(you folks call it ROOT SUM for some reason) of the three drawn numbers in one column. I also noted if the latest SUM was higher(+) or lower(-) than the previous game. I then added a column indicating if the number was ODD or EVEN. The next column denoted wheter the number was HIGH or LOW.
The following is a sample and the last few drawings seem to present a very nice pattern:
10/31/06........0-5-4..........+ 9.........E-O-E..........L-H-L
10/30/06........0-0-3..........- 3.........E-E-O..........L-L-L
10/28/06........3-1-1..........- 5.........O-O-O.........L-L-L
10/27/06........0-2-4..........- 6.........E-E-E...........L-L-L
10/26/06........1-3-4..........+ 8.........O-O-E..........L-L-L
10/25/06........0-0-7..........- 7.........E-E-O...........L-L-H
10/24/06........2-4-2..........- 8.........E-E-E............L-L-L
10/23/06........5-8-2..........- 15........O-E-E...........H-H-L
ASSUMPTIONS:
The SUM column starting from the bottom up goes Down,Down,Down,Up,Down,Down,Down,Up.
IF(big if of course) the pattern continues, you would expect tonights(Nov 1) drawing to have a SUM less than 9.
In 21 drawings of a Pick 3 ball, only TWO BALLS were HIGH(5,7).
Therefore, since the SUM is assumed to be less than 9, then the three numbers simply cannot be big.
So now we have gone from 1,000 combinations down to the sum of all combinations for Root Sums 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8. Not sure exactly how many numbers we are left with - I'd have to figure.
Also, out of 21 balls drawn, SIX of them were a ZERO. 6/21 = 2/7 which is about 29%. So, one column more than likely could be a ZERO in tonights drawing.
I have been charting the three numbers drawn separately for the past month. Each graph represents the numbers drawn in a particular position. My first graph shows the FIRST NUMBER drawn each evening. I call them COLUMNs. COLUMN 1, COLUMN 2, and COLUMN 3. I have been trying to use them to narrow down the combinations. The trick is to guess the direction the numbers go for each of the three columns. I am pretty good about predicting the direction of two columns, but that third one is the real kicker. Then, how much down or up will the number go. I have been using the AVERAGE.
FIRST NUMBER FOR OCTOBER: D1(down 1),U4,D3,U1,UP etc.
Once I get a feel for the direction of the position, then I average the amount of UP's or DOWN's and apply to the last drawing.
For example:
COLUMN 1 for tonight Nov 1: That little sob doubled last night by hitting ZERO! It simply has to go UP this evening or my name is Clem KaDoodleHopper! How much up? Adding the UP amounts from the graph we have 4+1+5+4+2+7+4+1+3 = 31 31/9 = 3.????? So, use 3 or 4 numbers greater than last night's drawing - which was a ZERO. So, tonight, I will bet on a 3 or 4 showing in the first position or column. I am not suggesting that this is a winning strategy. I AM A NEWBEE AND YOU ASKED ME HOW I AM PLAYING. If I had more dinero, I would play more numbers, but I have to go for the gusto!
COLUMN 2 for tonight Nov 1: This little sucker has been my nemisis all month long! The silly critter can go UP or DOWN based on the graph. Last night, he went UP from a ZERO to a FIVE. He has duplicated or doubled THREE times this month, so he could hit FIVE again. He has also gone UP TWICE IN A ROW THREE TIMES this month. So, he could go UP from 5 to either 6,7,8, or 9. If you take the AVERAGE UP = 3+2+4+3+3+1+5+3+3+5/10 = 32/10 = 3.2 and add to last nights 5, you get 8. But, don't throw aWAY THE 2/10 and allow him to go UP 4, giving a 9. This does NOT JIVE! Remember, the SUM for tonight is expected to be less than 9. If column 2 is an 8 or a 9, that means the other two numbers will have to be a zero. I DON'T THINK SO!!! Hence, COLUMN 2 will either duplicate, or go DOWN, How much down? AVERAGE DOWN =7+5+2+2+2+5+1+4+1+1+1/11 = 31/11 = 2 and 9/11 - so say 2 and 3. Last night the number was 5, so subtract 2 and 3 from 5 leaving the numbers to consider for this evening's drawing of 2 and 3. Perhaps throw in the 5 just in case the little sob decides to duplicate itself again.
COLUMN 3 for tonight Nov 1: This column has gone UP for the past two drawings. For the entire month of October it NEVER WENT UP TWICE IN A ROW until last night. I am betting it will not GO UP THREE TIMES IN SUCCESSION! Therefore, she is going down on us.<LOL> How far down, AVERAGE DOWN = 4+3+3+2+7+1+6+2+7+3 = 38/10 = 3.8. Subtracting 3 and 4 from last nights number 4 yields the two numbers 0 and 1. Those are the two numbers I will be playing this evening. Must hurry now to get my bets in before she closes!
BETTING COMBINATIONS FOR THIS EVENING:
32O 321 330 331 350 420 421 430 431
I WILL BET $1 EACH ON THE NINE NUMBERS USING "EXACT ORDER". I really need some help and advice on those options "Exact/Any Order" and "Combo" - their cost and differences.
I will NOT bet on 351, 450, and 451 because their SUMS are greater than 8.
Well, maybe tonight will be the night - who nows. This is only my first month to play and I have an awful lot to learn.
