Hello there, I had originally talked about this briefly in another post by Kola, here is the link:

 http://www.lotterypost.com/thread/143849/705353?q=KOLA

I'm sure at sometime or another you have noticed that the same pick 3 (in any combination) will be contained inside of a pick 4 during the same state's same draw time, or the next pick 4 draw within the same day same state.

For example: On 11/07/06-Pick 3-PA-midday-023, pick 4-PA-midday-3200.

There had to be a way to capitalize on this type of draw.

I went to my favorite tool here at the Lottery Post & that is the Search Past Results feature. I LOVE IT...

I selected all states, pick 4 games, match straight, match boxed. Then, input the pick 4 3200. & in the next set of boxes, the next line, input the pick 3 023 in the first 3 boxes. By entering the pick 3 into the first three boxes you will get every pick 4 that has the pick 3 contained within it.

Next, I looked to see the last time that this particular pick 4 was drawn in any combination & then I looked at the other pick 4s around it. These are the pick 4s that one should consider playing boxed or straight in any state.

Look at the results:

  • Game(s): All States Pick 4
  • Match Type(s): straight and boxed
  • Date range: Past 6 Months (May 10, 2006 - present)
  • 192 drawings matched the search criteria specified

Sometimes the winning pick 4 maybe the pick 4 that has made the lesser of appearances in the lineup. At other times it will be the complete opposite or another possibility. I have been taking note of this for a while.

You may consider going back & researching past occurrences. This will help you greatly. You may be able to notice a pattern. For example how many draws you count up or down from the original pick 4 winner.

I look forward to this occurrence in the pick 3 & pick 4 draws because I know that winning will be $oon.

    WOW!

    11/08/06

    0302-PA-evening

So from that occurrence we can see that a repeat in combination is a possibility.

      Look at this example for 11/05/06. Missouri-pick 3 evening 014, pick 4-evening 1304.

      • Game(s): All States Pick 4
      • Match Type(s): straight and boxed
      • Date range: Past 6 Months (May 10, 2006 - present)
      • 213 drawings matched the search criteria specified

Maverick2842, there are ways to find out.

          1. Go back & look at the past results to see where this has happened most recently.

2.Watch the results as they happen.

3.Make sure you get a printout of the daily results.

I've always loved you research info... very enlighting to say the least!!  Good job!

OK, to understand you principal here, Look for a state which has the P3 contained in its P4 on the same day/same draw, then look for the P4 number to repeat somewhere across the states?

Yes calabs that is part of it, the other part makes reference to searching past results going back to when the last time the winning pick 4 has made an appearance in any combination & looking at the combos around it. Play some of those combos as well.

This is very cool, Laverne. I am starting to research now. Do they have to be the same draw?

                      For instance:

                      ILLINOIS 8.16.06 Pick 3 MIDDAY = 648

                      ILLINOIS 8.16.06 Pick 4 EVENING = 8764

                      NEW JERSEY 8.16.06 Pick 3 MIDDAY = 796

                      NEW JERSEY 8.17.06 Pick 4 EVENING = 7926

It would also be interesting to find out what 3-digit combination comes in the most in any state.

Just in this two-week period, if you had played all draws for $1 and played the ten combos each...so $480 a day, you would have 13 x $480 = $6240 cost. But you have 9 hits x $750 = $6750 for a profit of $510. Not bad!

This original 332 was from Ohio on Aug. 18, 2006 of this year. If you played that combo in just the Ohio draws for the past 83 days, you are looking at a total cost of $1,660 for both draws, and that is an estimate, since Ohio doesn't draw on Sundays. But just to put it in persepective:

You are still getting 4 hits from Ohio @ $750 apiece and that brings in $3,000 for a profit of almost $1400!! Very interesting indeed.

This is very cool, Laverne. I am starting to research now. Do they have to be the same draw?

                              For instance:

                              ILLINOIS 8.16.06 Pick 3 MIDDAY = 648

                              ILLINOIS 8.16.06 Pick 4 EVENING = 8764

                              NEW JERSEY 8.16.06 Pick 3 MIDDAY = 796

                              NEW JERSEY 8.17.06 Pick 4 EVENING = 7926

Scroll back up & read very carefully.
