how have you done in the lottery for 2006?

before the summer hit i had already hit this year for nearly 5 thousand dollars at betslips.i have not hit since may.i think a lot of it had to do with the internet gambling bill because that really screwed me up as far as my confidence and ability to think and play good.

The highest win this year was a $50 win on Powerball.  But for the most part I have been in the range of $1 to $20 when I do win off the lottery that I play.  I have not been very lucky this year in the lottery.  I think my luck was low this year because it felt like I was not winning as much as in the past.-weshar75

Since I played online.. I measure success by

          withdrawals and deposits..

          No deposits this year....

and only one month without a withdrawal..

Been a little cold in GA this week.. I have gone 4 draws without a hit... Hope to hit it midday today... Wink

TN is getting a little easier..Banana  Money lost has been through playing instore for TN..

Goal for 2007.. To hit pick 5...  It would be the sweetest...Lovies

            Done great.

The safe was getting a bit to small for the cash.
Got me one of those tall combinational solid steel gun safes and put shelves in it to separate the bills.

As usual I've come up short.  Worst yet, I didn't have any winners over $100 so far this year so I haven't even come close to winning a top prize.

I did fabulous followed by disasterous...

I hit a New York pick 4 straight online in early June.

Then I hit somewhere around 50 pick 4 box bets online in the pick 4, but it just wasn't

often enough to gain ground and eventually my demise was apparent come August.

I hit several pick 3's along the way as well.

Just got into a cycle of spending more than I was making and that's a really bad strategy.

So, now I'm at it again but playing fewer numbers per draw. I've gained more than I've lost but they are small gains using box bets only. Hope this trend will continue.

What is doing fair, average, and good?  Does fair mean you lost a little or average mean you broke even or good mean you won a little?  I pick a winning combination in real life about as often as I pick one on the prediction board which is about 10% of the time but I'm still coming up short because those winners are at the bottom prize tiers.  I play pick5 and jackpot games which have odds of 2% - 10% of winning something and I beat those odds most of the time.  I've concluded that unless a regular lottery player win a top prize, he losing.

Since lotteries keep half of the money from sales and pay the winners out of the rest that means when a lottery player wins five hundred dollars, 999 other players lost a dollar, so losing money playing the lottery is expected and is average.
