I WISH I had $80 to throw at it every draw - I would be content with that.

We spend 2 bucks every Mega Million drawing.  Do we win?  Sometimes a few bucks...the way we look at it is if you are meant to win the big one, you will...............but you at least need to put a buck on it to bet that luck!

Put all that money that you are talking about in mutual funds........ours averaged out to 11.4 per cent this year on our investments......outstanding...no.....making some money...yes...pretty safe investment...yes...............am I sick to my stomach at night because I lost a big chunk of dough....no.

The purpose of money is to make money.......not spend it......and gambling gives a horrible investment.

You should try whatever system you intend to use on paper for the length of time it would take for your money to run out and see how you do.

Your chances of winning a jackpot with a dollar and 500 dollars are both less then zero.

If you were to really study the game until you understand it inside and out, and use a good software like Lottery Director, Lotwin by Future Soft, Lotto Hat, ones that allow you to put all the numbers into play and filter out the "bad" combinations it might be fun to try playing with someone else's money, but I wouldn't put money on it.

You only need one ticket to win, try working on getting that one right.

I hope you're finding out by reading these posts that the harder you try to prove a Pick 6 or Powerball or MM jackpot isn't luck, the more you're going to realize it is, and that's all it is.

        Wink

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I can see that you want to win bad.  Saving your playing money for large jackpots is a good idea and spending $5 to $10 a drawing on tickets is also a good idea.  You must take into account whatever money you use to play games of chance as money that you may never get back.  So if you have the expendable income to play at high levels if that is what you so choose then go ahead.  I would not recommend buying hundreds of tickets because the fact is their is only one winning combination.  So you stand a greater chance at lose then you do of gaining.  But even the sun can shine on a dog's butt some day.-weshar75

You would have a better chance if you went to vegas and put $10,000 on black at the roulette wheel. Repeat until you are A.) broke or B.)win enough money to suit you.
