$20 tickets?  only 1.5 million will be sold?  anyone going to try it. i don't think its worth the money.

    they take in 30 million and only about 4 people win 1 million dollar prizes. Your chances of winning are 1 in 120,000.00 according to them ...

      WHat do you think ???

      There will be 12 prizes each of $1 million LUMP SUM, and 75 smaller prizes. The payout percentage will be 50%, so it's definately worth playing.

        I think a miracle just occurred.  Cash Only had a positive thing to say about the New York Lottery.

         

        Check the State Lottery Report Card
        What grade did your lottery earn?

         

        Sign the Petition for True Lottery Drawings
        Help eliminate computerized drawings!

          I think a miracle just occurred.  Cash Only had a positive thing to say about the New York Lottery.

          Well for once NY gets it right. I have no idea whether NY's new lottery director (hired by then-Gov Pataki just after the election) had any influence in any part of the raffle. Hopefully he's listening to the players, and not just another puppet.

          You have to wonder why the top prizes in the raffle will be lump sum, while all the "million-dollar" scratch prizes going back to 2000 have been annuity-only.

            I guess you have never heard the phrase, "Never look a gift horse in the mouth."
