Any one know where the Tennessee Raffle is now?  How many tickets have been sold?

We might have to wait until the Second Ice Age to hold the drawing.

Dont worry.. they lack 150K to make the half way mark.. You have time.

              Congrats on your hit..

For those of you keeping up with Tennessee Raffle, here is my latest info.

                  As of 6:35 pm March 6, 2007.......

310,851 tickets have been sold.  If the goal is 800,000, Tennessee has a long road ahead.

We might have the drawing shortly after the second coming.  Maybe.

I'll finally be going home Saturday (Spring Break Thank GOD!) to see what is up with this game.  I honestly expected better!  I guess we'll see.  I plan on buying a few while I'm home but it does look to me that this could be the raffle that flops.  Something is very wrong here.  Not sure what it is.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

Tennessee Lottery website has made this statement

LOTTERY TO CREATE 4 MILLIONAIRES ON MAY 14TH!

The drawing to award four prizes of $1 million each will be held on May 14th, the Tennessee Lottery announced today. “Anticipation has been building and we’re looking forward to creating four new millionaires,” said Rebecca Paul Hargrove, President and CEO. Million $ Madness is a raffle-style game with a limited number of tickets. Chances to win $1 million are the best ever at 1 in 200,000. In addition to four prizes of $1 million each, two prizes of $50,000 and 100 prizes of $500 each will be awarded. Players can check for results of the May 14th drawing on the Tennessee Lottery’s website, www.tnlottery.com or at any Lottery retailer.

Last time I checked they have sold  385000 tickets on Mach 27th 2007

They will probably take off and sell fast now with a date announced.
