DA BEARS PRAYER

Our Papa,
Who art a Bear
hallowed be thy fame,
Thy championship come,
Thy play be run,
At home as it is away,
Give us this day our Sunday win,
And forgive us our turnovers,
Though we pounce on those who turnover against us,
And lead us not into fourth and long,
But deliver us from Krenzel

In the name of Ditka,
Butkus,
and the Holy Payton

As it was in 1985
So it shall be in 2007
Reign without end

DAAAAAMEN

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Coin Toss...this brought tears to my eyes..... LOL

Your inspiration is truly moving...Papa is looking down on you with pride.

I am printing copies of it and all tailgaters must kneel before the TV altar and recite this before kickoff.  (It'll go well with the incense and Jesus candle).

Thank you for a blessed addition to Chicago's pre-game ceremonies.

I wish they were real bears.  Then I would pray for them.  Those beautiful brown bears are almost extinct.

However, I do admire your dedication to a sport where men jump on top of each other, squat and put their hands between the other guys legs, pat each other on the butt cheek and then hug and shower together.

Congrats to Da-Bears!!!  Personally, i thought the NFC was the weakest it's been in yr's., with the exception of Chicago & Naw'lings.  Truly, pulling for Peyton & the Colt's in the Bowl though.

The NFC playoff games were appallingly bad this year.  The best game of the playoffs was yesterday's Pats - Colts game.  Thank goodness the Colts won so we don't have to listen to all the hype about "New England dynasty".  Roll Eyes

                    I'm from Boston!  Sad

I still haven't recovered from the official team name change when they moved to Foxboro.  I was never a big football fan, but if you grew up in Boston you'd understand. It would be like changing the name to the Midwest Bears.

I am glad that the Colts won.
For Peyton, Tony Dungy , Marvin Harrison , and even Joseph Addai - a first class organization from top to bottom.

The Pats had their run and I am glad it's over.
                        Belichick is an ass.
Did you see the way he brushed Peyton off ?

                        LaDanian Tomlinson had a point.............

Yeah, the Boston Patriots had more "pizazz" - and so did the old logo, the full body Minuteman

                          DoubleDown

Hmm, not quite a first class organization considering the way they moved out of Baltimore. Isray hired moving vans and the the "Indianapolis Colts" left Baltimore at midnight, unannounced to all but those in the know.

Make for a real good rivalry between the Colts and the Ravens, sure but all in all it was a pretty low rent stunt to pull on the fans. That's why Tavens fans are so rabid, especially when they play the Colts.

Yeah, CT.. I forgot about that , but like the players said, it has no bearing at all on todays games..I guess I was mostly referring to the coach and the players... sorry..........I forgot about ol Irsay.
It's in the past....it certainly didn't matter after kickoff in the divisional game....sort of like this media circus about the first two african american coaches-
I like what Tony Dungy said about it- he said the day we do NOT recognize it is the day we have truly made progress...........

                            and.......Belichick is still an ass.

DD, granted these players and coaches had nothing to do with the move out of Baltimore, but when Isray was giving his little speech I thought, "Oh this is rich."
