Does anyone have any outrageous stats for an overdue pair?

                     Ricky,

You see more of those outlandish records than anyone in the World(seriously).....in the world.

What have been your thoughts about these really Monster Stats?  You see soooooo much of this how to you process this and still maintain confidence in any boundary?

They make me feel uncomfortable ..... "No Boundaries" ...

I've still not decided exactly how to think about them.

Jadelottery has put forward some interesting thoughts about ....." 2 kinds of Probability"..... and their 2 types of Timing

The only real failure .....is the failure to try.

Luck is a very rare thing....... Odds not so much.

Odds never change .....but probability does.

                                                                                                           Win d

Here are a few stats for pairs in Michigan.  This info comes from a spreadsheet that made a while back; it starts at the first draw on 9-1-1984 and includes all the midday and evening drawings combined through 11-13-2005.

Split pair 9X3 had a skip of 1,011 games

Back pair X64 had a skip of 1,119 games

Front pair 21X had a skip of 931 games

I know Ohio has had a few pairs skip a little over a thousand games as well.

Dug up some stats on OHIO...

These stats were from a spreadsheet containing all draws from 12-3-1979 through 11-11-2005:

                        Front Pair 77X 1,022 games

                        Front Pair 08X 1,045 games

                        Back Pair X41 1,047 games

                        Back Pair X59 1,056 games

                        Slit Pair 1X2 851 games

Seeing a "straight pair" make it out 1,000 draws or more is a pretty rare event.  Think of this way:  a pair has a 50% chance of being drawn within a 69 game span of time.  When a pair fails to be drawn for 1,035 consecutive games, its like seeing a coin land 15 time on tails without a heads....or vice-versa!

Ive been toying with the idea of maybe trying to write an ultimate Pick 3 stats book...an almanac of sorts.  I'm having trouble getting the entire histories of some of the states though. Theres a handfull of states that make them difficult to aquire...NY, KY, WA to name a few.  I have D.C. on paper but havent put it in the puter yet.

For MI mid and eve combined, i have a highest skip of 1123 draws, not 1119...

And the skip for the 21X i don't have

The history of draws i have goes back 9/1/1984, so most likely that is not the full drawhistory.
