Perhaps someone sees where I am going with this. Maybe ..... instead of looking at all 5 short sum skips.... we could narrow down our focus to as few as 3 sums only.
As long as all 3 sums were out a minimum total of .... x skips
Heck ....look at Pa midday up there with 107 skips for all 5 sums and yet the top 3 are carrying the load really. The first 3 missing sums by themselves are out ...what??? .... 94 Skips ! Heck.... that is about the national average for longer than normal missing sums ....top 5 missing sums that is.
So Pa's top 3 sum skiips are missing as much as most states top 5 !
See where I'm going? ..... Using the top out 3 sums only...... not the top 5 sums...... and ...If we use no doubles thats what ... only 216 Straights.
Remember ..... we are talking about Straights here.. so our picks are gernerally going to run around 6 times higher than for crummy Boxes. We can make money starting off with 216 each day....and filter from there instead of 1000 right? You bet !
Very interesting stuff, WIN D! Thanks very much for posting...
I'm thinking that the same general total-ing principle could, of course, be applied to other long out total skips, not just short sums.
Unfortunately, I'm not set up to track short sums easily, but versabet does do a pretty good job of tracking digits by position. It's never occurred to me, until just now, to total up the skips for the three most out digits by position.... to look for 3 together that were primed to pop. But it sounds like a good idea that has great potential for anyone who had the time and capabilities to track that sort of thing nationwide.
Looking to trap due digits by position, maybe it would make more sense to play your numbers straight/box instead of straight-only. Playing straight/box, you could at least have a decent chance of winning some box money while you wait for a straight hit........ in the event that those specific position digits you were trying to trap continued to stay missing.
I'll have do some more study on what might be the best betting strategy, if you were looking for three specific digits by position...... Ideas, anyone?? I'm wide open to any thoughts or suggestions.
And......Speaking of Washington state, I happened to run across an extremely rare missing pair event in Washington state. It's definitely worthy of an alert, and please feel free, if you like, to give this more attention in another, separate, thread.
151 ! skips after Saturday night's 484, for the 67 boxed pair, and I'm sure you know how unusual it is for any regular, no-match, pair to be missing that long in any state's game.
Seeing your short sum info gave me hope that maybe, just maybe, we could be fortunate enough to see a convergence of both of these two overdues very soon (like tonight! LOL):
the 67 pair with short sums 2, 3, 5, 8, or 9 would give you only five plays instead of ten:
679 670 672 675 676
(in some order)
