This would be great but you pick6 and it picks the other 12. You pay $2 for three lines per play The machine gives you the numbers of line 2 and 3. I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Greg- humour yourself, and dabble in the fact that your data is inaccurate. Humour is more humbling then arrogance...

hey gamey, inaccurate?  The data is right from both NJ's and PA's websites-- see for yourself, or is the truth too piercing for ya?

I guess you can't HANDLE the truth!!!!

Always tell the truth-- that will astonish some, and gratify the rest.

It's really funny how simply denying documented facts does nothing but expose itself as the lie that denial is.

My hope is that the people at the lottery commissions will come to their senses and revert back to the prior form of pick 6/49 etc..  I am pretty sure the revenue has dropped for these new style games because everybody I know has stopped palying them(the jackpots grow very slowly, the only people playing don't know the diff).  The consultants or whomever proposed these changes should be made to pay the lost revenue and work up costs for not consulting with the people that play  these games.  But I know this is just a pipe dream.  The lottery does whatever it wants, yet it is state sanctioned and regulated, changes in the lottery should be voted on in referendums, seeing how they generate billions for the states.  They operate way to independently and autonomously from the statehouses, all lotteries should have independent, registered voters, boards of directors to oversee the direction of the lottery with the members appointed by the Governer.  Also the directors' job should not be a job for life but have a term. I thought I had the $6 million tonight. For the 6th time ever I matched 4 of 6, and 7 of 18. The best I ever did was 4 of 6 and 8 of 18 so far. I played only one ticket with my own numbers, and of course the other 2 lines were QP. The second QP line had the 4 matching numbers, and the other two numbers were off by one, and a few digits.

Unbelievable, close winners are even more painful than outright losers. But oh well, I got some good energy going on because I keep reinvesting my winnings into the next drawing. At least match 6 is paying back decently unlike powerjoke.

The winner is probably some 90-year old from Pittsburgh.

                Speaking of MATCH6:

I got one Saturday for tonight's drawing, these are the #s:

                07 11 13 17 20 28
                10 15 16 21 34 41
                01 02 26 34 37 40

I got only the 17. Now, notice that only one # is on twice, the 34. This means the BEST you can do other than 5/6 or 6/6 on the top line, is 7#s scattered. It is ***IMPOSSIBLE*** to have an 8- 9- or 10-number match on this ticket (they DRAW only 6 balls) so it is therefore LOCKED OUT to win SOME OF the prizes right off the bat! I thought the QP lines 2 and 3 would always repeat enough #s so that a 10-number prize could be possible. I guess NOT! Well, a 7- or less match is "more" likely with all the different #s.

                  1) Larry, in his book, The Lottery Solution, William Atwood describes this as "random creep".  PA doubled the price of the "standard" or "classic" 6/49 game while locking many out (as you point out!) of the so called "available" lowered-tiered prizes.

                  2) Compare the 4/6 & 5/6 PA 6/49 prizes with NJ's!

I think you'll agree this game needs to be re-named, "Botched Six"!
