I wouldn't necessarily say it's a bad idea, but there isn't a "what's the point?" option.

Seriously, why would somebody pick a few numbers on their own and then let the machine pick the rest? I can't imagine that anybody thinks that a partial QP will give them an edge, and whatever your criteria might be for picking some of the numbers, why is it a problem to pick the rest?

The only reasons I can really see for using QP is if you're buying so any tickets that  picking numbers and filling out the slips is too much work, or possibly if you only play now and then and don't want to risk having standard numbers that could win when you don't play them.

Seriously, what's the point of playing the lottery in the first place? It's just testing your numbers, your luck, getting a feeling, standing on your head and clucking - whatever way you think you'll win, isn't it?

The point is that it's simply something different - no more unusual than any other method.

Hey that works in Tennessee Powerball

I never thought of that before.

I think that is a neat Idea.

I picked 3 numbers and let the machine pick the others.

      Thumbs Up

Thanks jxp... it's just another way of doing it ...trying something 'different',  every now and then..............  I "discovered" it,  mabey a bout a year or so ago....... when there was a little ink spot where I had clearly checked quick-pick.
