Guys, i need some help here...i´ll like to know which game you think is hardest....

Which one is hardest? a pick6/25 OR  Pick5/20 + PIck1/11

odds: pick6/25 = 177,100

pick5/20 + Pick1 / 11 = 170,544....

you can check with an odds calculator to see the respective odds....

Well, if you're just playing Quick Picks, the Pick 6/25 technically is harder than the Pick 5/20 + 1/11. However, when applying a system, and comparing those 2 different types of games with the jackpot odds only being separated by a few thousand, the Pick 6 game could end up being the easier one in the long run. The reason for this is simply because of the fact the Pick 6 game is one pool of numbers whereas the Pick 5+1 game is 2 pools of numbers. The fact alone that the person using a system is playing with a second pool means they will have to rely even more on luck hoping for the jackpot prize instead of second prize than if he were playing a Pick 6 game with similiar jackpot odds.

Gonna win.

After you find out which game is the hardest, find out which game is the easiest because that's the game I want to play.

When I study a game, I just look at the odds shown on the web site. To me, they really tell the story.  Of course pick-3 is always going to be the game to play with the least amount of combinations.  However, I don't think any lottery games are "easy," just some have more possible combinations, giving the player a less likely shot at winning with an equal amount of tickets. The less combinations possible, the better chances of winning.  The more tickets you buy, your chance of winning increases even more.  Our pick-4 game with odds of 1:10,000 certainly isn't easy, but there's obviously a greater chance of winning it than other games with larger jackpots.

Where did you find a 6/25 game?  What is the jackpot?  The odds for our 6/53 game are 1:23M so I would definitely play a 6/25 game if we had one, but I doubt if there would be a lot of rollovers and there might be multiple winners.  Our Fantasy 5 game (5/36) has odds of 1:377K and isn't "easy" at all.

I think a 6 number \$1 game where the odds are only 1:170,000 would be very popular, depending on the prize.

Assuming you calculated the odds correctly, in my opinion, the more "difficult" game would be 5+1

Thank you, Pumpi, for the information.

That is a very old link, but I found the current WV Lottery site.  Looks as if the largest prize won has been \$25,000.  Not bad, but I hope when I finally win a jackpot, I get back the money I've invested and more!

We have enough games here, so I rarely track the games in other states.  If I lived closer to the GA border I might play MM or some of the GA games once in a while, but it's much too far.
