Wouldn't you love to see a lottery channel? And if so what are some of the things you would like for it to have...?

Yes, I would love to see a lottery channel.

I watch the stock channel & they have different reps from companies giving there opinions on various stocks. The same concept could be adopted.

There could be head to head competitions concerning the # of the day. Explaining why a particular #(s) would be best. With live visuals.

& stories about how past lotteries were run. Strategies revealed from the "Old School" methods.

Spirited debates concerning systems. However all participants must AGREE TO DISAGREE & NO PERSONAL ATTACKS WILL BE TOLERATED.

The announcers on the horse racing channel will even give their picks for each race. They also have phone interviews.

Viewing the lottery channel would be tops on my list.

I would still come to the Lottery Post everyday.

But a lottery channel will break the lottery...How? if they are good all they got to do is post their predictions and i am sure thousands of people will buy them and if thousand of people buy those predictions and they win? Just imagine a thousand people getting 5/5 + 0 on Powerball....The lottery is not expecting to pay that addition...But i am very positive it will get so many viewers, it will be crazy...Imagine if they had a show, like Cramer where people can call in and say their lottery opinions...Who i say is going to watch that channel the most? The senior citizen...

A lottery channel would be overkill.  A one-hour per week lottery program might work, much like the gambling program they have during football season where professional gamblers advertise their prediction services.  Someone has to buy advertising to pay for the program.

Of course, there is an astrology channel over the internet in Poland.

How much would it cost to produce an internet-based lottery channel?  With America One and Silver Springs already online selling advertising anything can happen.

What makes me mad sometimes (is kind of envy) is to hear people pay 20-25 million dollars to the Russian Space Agency to go into space....That's why i can't stand people with money; they waste so much money...Is so dark in space....When they could have used that money for something valuable that will have an impact or help people...Why not create a lottery channel with that money...Is not a lot for a lottery channel but they could have created something close to a lottery channel...And i am sure that if they create a lottery channel, they would have gotten that money back in less than 2 years...I bet that the Russian Space Agency only profited 3 million dollars out of those 25 million dollars..Why because is so expensive to travel into space...I don't hate space travel, when i was growing up i wanted to be an astronaut and i used to read about aldrin & spootnik, and i love space movies, they are my most favorite...But i will not waist 25 million to go to space...

With those 25 million dollars i would have started a lottery channel or Gambling/betting channel or i will have create a loan agency that will lend people large sums of money, like 200K, without interests but they would have to repay the money in 5 years...Why? because there are people outthere that have important projects and will like to finance it but can't do it because the interest on the loan are too high...

Did you know that's one reason why foreign people hate the U.S and the G7, because they feel we like to throw money away (the richer gets richer & the poorer gets poorer)...

I've seen i think is ESPN2 or 1 show poker for hours, almost all night, and i know that the lottery is more popular than poker...

Perhaps i overstretched it too much, maybe it will be the Gambling Channel instead of the Lottery Channel...They can show a little of everything, from Poker to lottery to Casinos, to horse betting etc...

I wouldn't mind a lottery channel.  You know, they could show all things lottery.  All movies and tv shows lottery related.  I know there isn't that much material out there but hey you never know, it might spawn original programming.

I could see interviews with winners and players, game shows, lottery history just to name a few.  Maybe even share half the day with another operation.  Start out with 12 hours a day until interest grows, or even one or two days a week.  But yeah, i'd watch.

                        Think about it..........

When you watch CNBC, those stocks people pump are usually up the prior two days before being discussed on TV. I know, I've tracked some of them, one of them went from $7/share to zero in about a year and a half.

Think: If you had a hot stock, would you tell anyone about it ?   I wouldn't.

Same goes for here: if you had a GREAT system, would you tell anyone about it in any detail ?  I wouldn't.

I've discussed my 'system' with a handful of folks, it has some merit, but like EVERY system, it also relies on luck to some extent. My theories are pretty darned good, but they will NOT tell you what numbers to pick, it will tell you the TYPE of numbers to pick....  I don't consider my system a 'great' system specifically because it doesn't pick numbers for you, it tells you what to avoid, and what type of numbers to consider.

People are on TV infomercials all night and all weekend long touting how to make $20,000 a month - in your spare time, how to buy houses for pennies on the dollar - do any of us fall for that ?   I hope not........

Besides, we already have that here with our prediction area, and Maddog's prediction threads in the Jackpot forums.

A "gambling" channel MIGHT make it off the ground, but not all lottery, all the time. They already have many shows on the Travel Network about this where they take you into the casinos and talk with various people who run and work in them. But after an hour they get kind of boring. If they added lottery shows it might be a "bit" more interesting but who are they going to get to come and "spill the beans" with their systems and strategies? I highly doubt it would be of any use to anyone. No one's going to give that information for free. And especially not to the whole world who's watching. They would probably just give you the basic info that everyone already knows. Pumpi, interesting idea but in reality I don't think it would fly.

No, I wouldn't want to see a "lottery" channel...and I don't think it would be a big hit either.  If one was created and produced, it would probably meet the same fate as that TV show "Windfall".  The lottery is something that a lot of delusional people who attempt to pick the winning numbers (hey, before I receive hundreds of replies bashing me on saying that, let me first say that I too also play a few own picks each draw so I would qualify as being delusional in doing that!  And yes, I know that a miniscule percentage of the small percent of jackpot winners did so via own picks, but the vast majority HAVE NOT done so.) and a lot more other positively, optimistic, wishful thinking people who buy a few QPs play.  Watching such a show would be the ultimate in time wasting.  And even if the programming centered on actual jackpot winners and how they are living...I think that area is already covered with MTV showcasing MTV Cribs of celebrities and athletes and that Sweet 16 series covering phenomenally wealthy parents throwing extravagant parties for their children.  Most jackpot millionaires don't lead such exciting lives anyway...they just merely have the means to afford the toys and house(s) they always dreamed about.  Which is why I still don't know why the media finds each subsequent jackpot winner newsworthy.  I'll tell you what would be newsworthy...when somebody who so thoroughly believes in the worth of his/her lottery picking system plays the big jackpot game and come away winning $500M to $1B in jackpot winnings.  Yes that would require more than just having one jackpot winning ticket.  When someone is willing to gamble on their system in that manner and actually win, now that would be newsworthy.  But to just pick a series of numbers just to see if they will roll and to say that, wow we picked some winners but not have played those numbers...that just sux!

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!
