Following is a review as well as an update to this method. If I appear incoherent at times, I apologize in advance. Am currently fighting a headache as I attempt to transfer my thoughts to print in a manner that a normal thinking individual can discern something usuable from my scribblings and ramblings. (And they say some things are impossible...who knows, they could still be right).

For starters, I have modified and adapted this method to apply to the MegaMillion, Fantasy 5 and Win4Life. For each, the foremost modification I made was to change the 39 to 40 on Fantasy 5, 57 for Megamillions and 43 for Win4Life. This insures you can receive both 1 and 39 or whatever the highest number that is playable in the game at some point in time.
The next major modification I have incorporated is the incorporation of Pi. Now personally, I don't hold any mystic belief or ideals about Pi. It's merely a mathmatical formula that may (or may not) help me in acheiving an ends to my means. In Excel, my formula looks like this;
=ROUND((((((22/7)*43)-((22/7)*C2))/43)*10),0) <--Win4Life used here
Pi=22/7 <---for those who may not have known
The *10 moves the result one additional decimal. Otherwise, we would never get higher then 9. The ROUND command is to eliminate the decimal (important later on).

Minus System
43-C2 <--Original value minus the highest value plus 1
43-Pi system <-- Twisted Pi system
and also finally, to cap it off, an Average of each System

Next, I have a chart stretching from 1 to 42 and below that chart, I use excel to look at the various systems and if the number appeared in any of the systems, it would not show in this table. Hence my name for this table is the "Left-Overs".

(First row is just a list of numbers)
The excel formula I use here is this
=IF((COUNTIF($K2:$BM2,BP$1))>0,"",BP$1)
This method works because if BP$1=1 and it occurs at least 1 time in any of the systems, it would get blanked out. Now, you can reverse the system and have it only list, in order, all the numbers your system creates.

Finally, I created a set of tables that allowed me to review just how well my so-called "Systems" did compared to the numbers "Left-Over". It looks something like this

The Excel formula for the Left-over Numbers Table is this

=IF((COUNTIF($BP3:$DE3,C2))>0,C2,"")

The Excel formula for the System Numbers Table is this

=IF((COUNTIF($K3:$BM3,C2))>0,C2,"")

And to put the icing on the cake, I used conditional formating to highlight the cells with a color if a number showed up.

One final note, the tables represent what the last set of numbers did in comparision to the System and/or Left-over numbers.

One other note; the numbers between the 2 charts tell you how many numbers were created by the system versus those left-over.
And yes, this seems like a lot of numbers. But I ask this, would you rather pick from 27 numbers or 42 numbers and still be able to hit the big one? I like the lowered count personally, but hey, that's my personal preference.

After adjusting a wheel to reflect actuals, had I played the 20 sets, it would have resulted in a return of 6 Free Tickets. The good news is, 4 of the 5 numbers appeared from the system. Too bad the wheel didn't reflect no more then 2 per set. However, when used by a system created by a professional (sorry, do not recall who to provide appropiate credit), it too returned 6 free tickets plus one 3 of 5 worth around $7 to $9 (not sure of exact amount).

Sidebar - In applying the process to the MegaMillions numbers, it appears that the Left-Over numbers seem to perform better then the System numbers.
Guess it goes to show, that what may work for one lottery, may need to be viewed in a different light for other Lotteries. In this case, the System numbers would most likely be the numbers one should NOT play instead of those to play.

The subtract 39 method does not work for FLorida Fantasy 5...I tried subtract 36 not even one match. What strategies do you have for Florida Fantasy 5?

Retxx...sorry, but the data in this post is for Pick5, and up numbers. It is NOT intended for Pick4 or Pick3 games I would not even bother to take the time to make it adaptable. However, please feel free to use the information anyway you please.

A quick review of the past 10 draws shows my system works fantastic for Florida

In 10 draws, 8 yeilded positive benefits with my system averaging 4 numbers per game while only 2 out of 10 was in the left over numbers. Sorry, I am not sure what you did or didn't do right, but the results are very clear above.

FYI...I do not have the time to do all states and I do not track any state other then Georgia. I will happily share what I know (or at least what I think I know) with anyone. I am sorry I don't have the time to do the work outs for folks.

However, for tonite (and tonite only), the string for Florida Fantasy 5 is

03-05-06-08-10-11-12-14-16-18-19-21-22-23-24-26-27-29-30-32-34

There is a total of 24 numbers (out of a possible 36)

How do you select the strings to play? BTW, thanks for spreadsheet! I update with Fla draws, but I'm confused on string selection.
