IL and I'm very happy with our lottery. I think scratch off games are bad no matter what state you're in.

Use to live in Fla. and diden't like the lottery there..Live in Ky now and the games here are good..Not to sure about the scratch-offs,they stink...

I'm from the Zeta Riticuli star system and we have this neat drawing three tinmes a gidwhich (ZR time) where these asteroids are numbered with day-glow orange paint and then there's something equivalent to the ball drawings talked about here.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Dang, didn't get back in time to edit.
One time two of the asteroids collided and shattered each other, but the numbers on them were visible for a secind and people who had those numbers..........

Seriusoly, I'm in Illinois and I guess the lotto is OK. Scrathcers could be a little 'looser', and I see the raffle as a farce (all state lottery raffles thus far).
My most played game is Little Lotto, which is 5 / 39. It used to be 5 / 30 and from everything I've learned at LP, I would have played it a lot more when it was 5 / 30.

I'm from Tennessee and I'm happy with lottery in general because there is no state tax on winnings, but I'm unhappy with the payout on Cash 3. I play pick 3 in KY and Cash 4 in TN. I love Lotto 5, I just wish I could more then 3 numbers.

I love doubles and remember, it's just a game!!!!!!

Speaking of raffles, I'm wonering how the KY raffle is going to go off. They're selling 500,000 tickets for the drawing 7-7-07. I just bought a ticket this morning and it was 109,000. There is only 27 days left before the draw and I hope they don't sell them all so I have a better chance at one of those $500,000 prizes.

Tennessee here. I'm pleased with the lottery. I wish lotto 5 would be daily instead of 3 days a week. As for scratch offs... They are the best I've seen. Even better than GA's odds wise. Go Rebecca Paul Hargrove.

How are you going to win if you don't play?

I live in Arizona, where it seems that the lotteries are getting better. The Arizona (Fantasy) Pick 5 now has a rollover jackpot. And the payouts for the AZ Pick 6 have gotten better, $3.00 instead of $2.00 for 3/6 and $50.00 instead of $40.00 for 4/6 and $2000.00 instead of $1000.00 for 5/6. But they did take away the bonus ball for the AZ Pick 6.
I'm originally from Georgia, and before GA had the lottery, I knew people who would drive 90 miles to Florida just to buy lottery tickets. And then when GA finally started a lottery (I believe in 1995), people there just went crazy. I don't know how long the lottery has been around in AZ.
