I also enjoy hearing about those few cases of INTELLIGENT people who win the lotto, like the young California woman who won 30 million and bought her family a farm.

I'm another who doesn't necessarily like to see rich and powerful people fall. I have sympathy for both Martha and Paris, too. The ones I LOVE to watch fall are the rich and powerful ones who do stuff like strip retirement funds so they could throw a 3 million dollar birthday party. I feel SO bad for those victims who had their retirement pulled right out from under their feet.

Now, that's a stupid assertion to make. So you believe non religious people don't believe there's any consequences for their action because they don't believe in a god? That's very typical ignorant assumption from self righteous christians.
It doesn't have anything with beliefs to do, but peoples Conscience, Scruples and if they're potential psychopaths or sociopaths.

It could be a common belief that some New Age groups don't "believe" into a Christian concept of God . Thinking that their are the gods themselves , without limits and if there is "no limit" there is 'no definitive concequenses' (ie: thinking that there would be other lives) . Others would use the cause and effect rule or a Rule of Three.
Now, Psychopaths and Sociopaths could be linked to falsehood spirit. Even if Pseudolalia could be a disease or evil spirit.

About divination and 'good lucky' , what's this has to do with a good aura for LUCK?

Charismas are considered spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost or God) , it is sometimes refeered as some kind of energies. Some people 'knew' this as 'God is Love' , since Love is one of the attributes on the Holy Spirit.

Since when does conscience and scruples get capitalized? Are those your gods? Where do you think you learn the difference between right and wrong?

Got no arguments, so he resorts to attacking me for being Norwegian and using capitalized "conscience" and "scruples". Capitalizing was used instead of bolding/italized text.

Could be Universal Conscience , Collective Conscience , Christ Conscience ...
Jesus is called "Father of Eternity".
Some persons would divide the human kind into Mind, Soul and Spirit.
The Spirit or Power has attributes and concepts like the energy of Life, Love , Grace . There is the Spirit of Truth (I think that it is called SHIN in Japanese) . The spiritual energy or Power is much like the concept of CHI/KI . The Mind is associated with the Brain and could be 'measuring' your Salvation ( Spirit of Christ) or enlightenment. The Holy Spirit is rumored to be composite of Seven Spirits and you call the name of Jesus Christ to channel this Power.

I "don't know" what is the Soul , maybe it was created by a creator God and came from the Hall of Souls.

What I get from those shows are that the people who think that their lottery win will let them change the world. When they realize they can't and that they can't honar all the request for money they begin to slip into some very dark places. Drugs, Alcahol etc. If you really examine the stories of failed lotto winners it's all to do with giving too much. To their friends and family, to charities, to churches. Whislt at the same time buying toys themselves.
The Lottery winners that hold onto their money are usually a bit more selfish.
I have seen quite a few posts by some on this forum that difinately are not ready mentally for a huge lottery win. Some that would difinately be in the same boat as Jack or David very quickly.
I predicted this would have to Jack and David when they won the lottery. Based on their Lottery interviews.
People thought I was crazy when I said it about Jack as he was already rich and took home 110Million after taxes. But from his interview and all the plans he had to HELP OTHERS I knew those fatal words would sink him and they did.
So here is someone posting about lottery winners being dumb that in other threads says they would do the same things as these so called dumb winners.

I would rather see the lottery success stories when TLC ran their thing on David Edwards before he screwed up I was glad for him and that I had been wrong about how his tale would end. I was actually very disappointed to find out that he had screwed up and lost it all a year later. :(

Jack Whittaker is why I am sick of people saying how they would help charity out then call him a screw up. Jack gave most of his winnings away to Charity. Not a small part but most of his winnings and it's a matter of public record.
Then some of the biggest supporters of giving to charity after a lotto win on this site still continue to bad mouth Jack and that makes me sick. Hypocrites.
40 Million of 110 Million to 3 or 4 churches is a sizeable chunk of 110 Million. almost half.
