Well I am one of those people that although i'm not rich, had sympathy for Martha Stewart and Paris Hilton.
Not everyone enjoys watching rich people fall.
I also enjoy hearing about those few cases of INTELLIGENT people who win the lotto, like the young California woman who won 30 million and bought her family a farm.
I'm another who doesn't necessarily like to see rich and powerful people fall. I have sympathy for both Martha and Paris, too. The ones I LOVE to watch fall are the rich and powerful ones who do stuff like strip retirement funds so they could throw a 3 million dollar birthday party. I feel SO bad for those victims who had their retirement pulled right out from under their feet.

My dad and I were fishing in the Middle Cheaspeake when one of the suitcases was found by another fisherman, what a shock to open that suitcase! Dismemberment, what fun! How is it possible to do this?
Easy, not believing there are any consequences for your actions.
Not believing in God.
Now, that's a stupid assertion to make. So you believe non religious people don't believe there's any consequences for their action because they don't believe in a god? That's very typical ignorant assumption from self righteous christians.
It doesn't have anything with beliefs to do, but peoples Conscience, Scruples and if they're potential psychopaths or sociopaths.

It could be a common belief that some New Age groups don't "believe" into a Christian concept of God . Thinking that their are the gods themselves , without limits and if there is "no limit" there is 'no definitive concequenses' (ie: thinking that there would be other lives) . Others would use the cause and effect rule or a Rule of Three.
Now, Psychopaths and Sociopaths could be linked to falsehood spirit. Even if Pseudolalia could be a disease or evil spirit.
About divination and 'good lucky' , what's this has to do with a good aura for LUCK?
Charismas are considered spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost or God) , it is sometimes refeered as some kind of energies. Some people 'knew' this as 'God is Love' , since Love is one of the attributes on the Holy Spirit.

What i heard from a lot of people is that, you have to play for fun.If you have bills to pay and need money, then chances are low,you will win something.Another important thing is ,to have patience, belief, hope.Luck is diffrent for evveryone. Some played 5 years, when they find out, they hit big jackpot, others play lottery for the first time, and they hit the jackpot.Everyone would like to win,but always there are only few winners.,because of so many combinations.I personally have better chances in casino, especially roulette.I tried many slot machines and table games, and i know for sure, that in roulette i have the best chances to win, because i like this this game, and i know how to win.Same thing with lotto. If you really like this game, play for fun,and change tactics. There are many ways to play mm.pb pr pick 4.Find whats best for you,and stick with it.And remember,,,never lose hope.

Yes. I am very stupid and ignorant. Maybe I should have written in Norwegian.
Since when does conscience and scruples get capitalized? Are those your gods? Where do you think you learn the difference between right and wrong?
All beliefs must start somewhere, and they end somewhere for EVERYBODY. So get over your own self rightous pagan belief system and go conscienciously scruple yourself. jarasan

Pathetic reaction from someone without good arguments.
Got no arguments, so he resorts to attacking me for being Norwegian and using capitalized "conscience" and "scruples". Capitalizing was used instead of bolding/italized text.
Humans learned what was right and what was wrong long before they was brainwashed to worship fantasy gods.

Conscience is linked with awareness.
Could be Universal Conscience , Collective Conscience , Christ Conscience ...
Jesus is called "Father of Eternity".
Some persons would divide the human kind into Mind, Soul and Spirit.
The Spirit or Power has attributes and concepts like the energy of Life, Love , Grace . There is the Spirit of Truth (I think that it is called SHIN in Japanese) . The spiritual energy or Power is much like the concept of CHI/KI . The Mind is associated with the Brain and could be 'measuring' your Salvation ( Spirit of Christ) or enlightenment. The Holy Spirit is rumored to be composite of Seven Spirits and you call the name of Jesus Christ to channel this Power.
I "don't know" what is the Soul , maybe it was created by a creator God and came from the Hall of Souls.

No jerky, you attacked me first. What am I mind reader? I chose not to argue with you because I really don't care to argue with someone who calls me stupid and ignorant and now pathetic. I am simply going to pray for you and hope God has mercy on your soul when you are judged. Keep telling yourself that you know everything and that we learned right from wrong on our own. You also insult everybody who honors God, by calling them brainwashed and peoples' Gods fantasies. GHY jarasan

After watching a documentary entitled, "The Curse Of The Lottery", I noticed that oftentimes the DUMBEST people are the big winners. I'm sure that you've all heard about the lottery winners who destroyed their own lives and the lives of others, after winning the jackpot in the lottery. After seeing all those ignorant winners, I realized why they call it "dumb luck" and why it had never happened for me. Perhaps i've never won because I am of average intelligence.
Could "dumbing yourself down" increase your chances of winning the lottery?
If you are referring to Jack Whitiker and David Edwards. Don't forget that Jack gave over 40 Million dollars of his winnings to 3 churches right off the bat and Edwards gave 900000 right off the bat to Charity. So therefore I guess my other posts about not giving to charity right away when you win aren't just the ramblings of a jaded punk rocker :)
What I get from those shows are that the people who think that their lottery win will let them change the world. When they realize they can't and that they can't honar all the request for money they begin to slip into some very dark places. Drugs, Alcahol etc. If you really examine the stories of failed lotto winners it's all to do with giving too much. To their friends and family, to charities, to churches. Whislt at the same time buying toys themselves.
The Lottery winners that hold onto their money are usually a bit more selfish.
I have seen quite a few posts by some on this forum that difinately are not ready mentally for a huge lottery win. Some that would difinately be in the same boat as Jack or David very quickly.
I predicted this would have to Jack and David when they won the lottery. Based on their Lottery interviews.
People thought I was crazy when I said it about Jack as he was already rich and took home 110Million after taxes. But from his interview and all the plans he had to HELP OTHERS I knew those fatal words would sink him and they did.
So here is someone posting about lottery winners being dumb that in other threads says they would do the same things as these so called dumb winners.

The media of course! Nobody wants to watch a story about Mr. & Mrs. Jones who won $10 million dollars and bought a nice home by lake, set up trust funds for their children and grandchildren and joined a local philanthropy. It's not exciting!! That's why the headlines read something like "Man on Disability Wins" or "Single Mom Who Maxed Out Credit Cards Wins" or even something negative like "Sex Offender Wins." Of course people like to read about heroes, but I don't think anyone considers a lottery winner, even one who donates millions to a good cause, a hero.
When someone like Jack Whittaker screw up, I actually think many people enjoy reading the articles about his demise. Why else would so many magazines and "news" programs (for lack of a better term) have stories about all these celebrities who are caught doing crazy things or who go into rehab? People enjoy pointing at the rich who scew up and saying "nya, nya...I'm not rich but at least I didn't blow $100 million, you fool!" or "I might be a working class stiff, but at least I'm not in jail!"
I would rather see the lottery success stories when TLC ran their thing on David Edwards before he screwed up I was glad for him and that I had been wrong about how his tale would end. I was actually very disappointed to find out that he had screwed up and lost it all a year later. :(
Jack Whittaker is why I am sick of people saying how they would help charity out then call him a screw up. Jack gave most of his winnings away to Charity. Not a small part but most of his winnings and it's a matter of public record.
Then some of the biggest supporters of giving to charity after a lotto win on this site still continue to bad mouth Jack and that makes me sick. Hypocrites.
40 Million of 110 Million to 3 or 4 churches is a sizeable chunk of 110 Million. almost half.
