are you depending on the lottery for extra income?
what i mean by that is do you play the lottery regularly hoping to supplement your income with winnings that you than use to live on or pay bills with?

i'll be honest.i used to depend on it a lot.now in the days of prohibition its only a sometimes thing.maybe the government will realize how dumb they are and repeal this stupid law because we all know those jokers ain't really worried about little billy stealing moms credit card.nope they are pissed because they don't make any revenue off of it.let it be legalized and then they will care less if little billy steals his moms credit card,hell they might even hope it happens when its legal because thats more money in their greedy coffers,LOL.

Mike....I need all the extra income I can get! Want to pay off bills, mortgage etc. I guess no different than the rest of us. Not looking for "easy street." but would like to be comfortable.

same here,i'm just looking to be comfortable.i'd be happy winning one of those 1,000 dollars a week for life things more than i would a 200 million dollar jackpot.anything where i could have all these bills paid and a roof and i'm fine.i don't need to live like donald trump.i'd be happy just not to struggle......

I really only play for a chance at hitting a big jackpot to live out dreams that I want to happen sooner than later. Working towards those dreams regardless. I tried the whole gambling thing a pay off bills a couple of times but it never worked. Not with the lottery with Blackjack. But I decieded I don't really like gambling that much to buy into all of that.
I just want to win a big jackpot. Work on my dreams and be done with it. lol
Folks that go off on gambling sprees after winning a huge jackpot really confuse me. It's like damn ya already won all this cash why don't ya just enjoy it and let it make you more money???
If I ever did go to vegas or any casino after a big lotto win I would most likely play nickle slots and only for a couple of hours cos more than that drives me crazy lol. If I played Blackjack I would do 5 dollar bets and only for a couple of hours cos any more than that drives me crazy.
daily games don't interest me that much nor to scratch off tickets cos a few thousand is not what I want. I can make a few thousand on my own selling paintings or animals we've raised.
Thing is that alot of people with that type of attitude generally wouldn't use the win for that intended purpose in the event of a win anyway. People with those attitudes at times get this lucky streak mind set or go out and blow the money on other things. Folks win a couple thousand at the track and then go out and buy some toys or dinners or what not and forget about their bills. I have some friends like that. One of my old friends would spend his last 10 dollars on Dunhill Silk Cigarettes or buying flowers for some girl at a shop he past by that he found attractive.

as you guy's are probebly aware i obviously do not play your lotteries because i am from down under but i love this site and all you guys and all the forums and blogs its great and i get to learn about all the diffrent oppinions and responses its great i would love to start one of these forums in australia but i have no idea.
anyway to answer your question lotto mike i do depend on it for extra income but the one i am with does pay u to play for eg the more people who sign to play in the club the more you get paid each member i sign i make one time payment of $55for each person and an ongoing $2.75 per week to me its win win, what a great way to play and earn

Nope, I live within my means. I make sure my bills are paid and I save a bit before I play the lottery.
However, I make a lot of sacrifices to make sure I'm paying my bills with my regular income. No cable, drive an older car, washing machine that has to be coaxed thru its cycle, etc. I honestly wouldn't be all that unhappy with my lifestyle if I had decent neighbors. But I live next to the neighbors from hell and I'm stuck here. I mean, I could sell my home just to move away from them, but it's not in my best interests financially to do so at this time. So that's what a lottery win would do for me - help me become unstuck.

I depend on the lottery to keep my excel and visual basic skills sharp... I depend on the powerball as my last beacon of false hope that one day I might possibly have one system work just once and spend the rest of my life doing what I want...
but no, I don't depend on the lottery for extra income. Last year I averaged $4 a week... this year I added more games and still keep spending to $15 a week.
I follow this simple rule... my WEEKLY lottery budget should not exceed what I earn in one HOUR... I make $16/hr running EDM machines. So I am sticking to it.

No, I play the lotteries for entertainment. If I ever won a jackpot, I would probably start doing something else for entertainment.
