Help! I'm working on a project and I need to know how many different Pick 3 numbers there are.  I know that there are 1000 different combinations for the numbers 000 thru 999 but I need a formula to eliminate duplicate sets of numbers.  Or you could just tell me how many there are?

Thanks Hypersonic...but does your combinations eliminate boxed plays.  I only need the list of numbers for each occurence of 3 different numbers.  It doesn't matter what order.

                      Thanx Raven,

I wasn't aware of the boxed combinations and the no filtering selections. That worked.
