To each his own. But I've seen too many weird things that are not predicatble or logical happen over the years in lottery drawings. When logic does not produce the jackpot, then it is perhaps time to open ones mind to illogic.
Agreed, but "7 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7" is not illogic.
It might have alrady happened, but on a fluke, and I wouldn't pick a set of numbers like that and play them all the time.
I spent a year tracking Illinois' 5 /39 looking for anything- "Base" + ?, or "base" X's itself, + 3, + 10, etc...whatever, over the course of 365 draws and it just wasn't there, no such thing ever surfaced.
This kind of stuff has, though:
IL Little Lotto 10-20-06: 6 11 16 22 33
Il Little Lotto 10-20-07 3 8 14 20 32
(variances): 3 3 2 2 1
Call it mystical, but numbers seem to repeat, or numbers close to those numbers come in, on certain dates.
Like you said, to each his own, but for cash out of the pocket live play, I'd look for things like that more than I would any solid mathematical "formula".
Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.
There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.
